~Modern AU~
In the warm and summer day, Yuna, Miku, and their friends were going to the beach, that would be full of pale yellow sand and cool, crystal clear blue sea. A light and gentle breeze flew past the crew, making the weather feel a bit better than it already was. The weather was super hot, to a point where it felt like burning flames that were killing their light skin.
"Jeez, it's like a billion degrees out here!" Miku complained, folding her arms while showing a grumpy look. "Hey, that's my line!" Her counterpart, Aika argued back. Even though both of them were technical 'the same person' with 'the same personalities' they did tend to bicker often. Even with the simplest of lines, they could quickly start a heated argument. The two glared at each other before crossing both of their arms. “Hey! No argues right now! Today we're supposed to have a nice and calm day together.” Yuna clearly spoke in a stern tone.
"Yuna has a point, you know." Riku agreed with Yuna as both Miku and Aika started to calm down. "Fine..." Miku replied. "I'll try to... No guarantees, though!" Aika started to mutter out a pathetic apology, as she averted her gaze. "Those two are just hopeless, aren't they…?" Sora sighed, shaking his head at the two. "Don't say that, Sora. They'll already be more hopeless if you keep saying things like that." Namine said. "I guess so," He replied, still not completely believing Namine. "Well, I mean, they're not completely hopeless…" Kairi joined in the conversation between the two.
“*Sighs* Indeed… I just wish they can at least get along towards each other for once.” Yuna nodded in agreement, making everyone, besides Miku and Aika, seeing her disappointment. Namine came right by her side, patting her on the back. "Don't get disappointed by them; they're just a bit childish...Okay, well, maybe really childish, but that's just their nature."
“If it makes you feel better, I had to deal with their childish every day,” Riku spoke. "I'm their older brother, after all." Then he gave her a kind, gentle smile before looking back at Aika and Miku. “Hurry up you two! We’ll leave you two here if you want!”
“RIKU!” Everyone shouted at him, besides Aika and Miku. "Ugh, with her?! No way!!" Aika said insultingly as she ran after the group. She wouldn't dare want to spend any more time with her as she's already done. "Jerk…" Miku muttered, catching up to them. “And I thought Riku was worse than you…” Sora quietly said, making sure that no one didn’t hear him, especially Aika and Miku’s older brother.
As the group continues walking towards the pale, yellow sand, across the distance, everyone saw a familiar figure up ahead, waving at them to cover where they were. As they got closer and closer, Namine’s face was brightened up as she saw her crush… Cloud. The lighter blond-spiky haired male smiled to all of them as he walks towards them. “Hey! What makes you guys take so long?”
“Miku and Aika.” Riku simply answered Cloud's question. Aika only crossed her arms at her older brother's statement, while Miku did the same thing just like Aika did as Cloud laughs a bit. “Haha, I see… Anyway, why we should stand and waste our time here when we have many things on our list to do.”
"Well, we shouldn’t!" Sora replied, grabbing Yuna’s hand. "Then let's go!" Cloud smirk, giving the two grimly look. You can say that he shipped those two for a very long time. Aika stared at Cloud with curiosity with her pale blue eyes. "Hey, Cloud?" She finally spoke up, "Yeah?" He turned to look down at her. "Why are you smirking at Yuna and Sora?"
Then Cloud started to hum in the tone of voice. “None of your business, Aika. You’ll know in the near future.” And with that, Cloud and the rest of the group followed Yuna and Sora, leaving Aika confused. "Ugh, why does everyone treat me like a kid…?!" After a while, Miku couldn't help but laugh at her counterpart. "Maybe because you are one?" Aika glared at Miku and folded her arms. She only asked a simple question that could be responded with a simple answer! What could be so hard about that? Nothing; nothing was hard about answering her a question. "Be a problem solver, Aika." And just like that, Miku left her by herself just like everyone else did.
“That jerk!” She snarled at Miku, running after everyone that left her by herself. ‘I swear I’m going to kill her one day!’ So she thought.
'Ugh, she can't be THAT daft for not finding out, right…?' Miku thought. 'Isn't it...obvious? Ehh, she'll find out soon enough.'
~20 minutes later~
After walking away from the dramas that Miku and Aika keep making, everyone was finally able to set everything they brought with them. Kairi and Namine set up the blankets on the pale, yellow sand--alongside with a rainbow umbrella, Cloud, Riku, and Sora were setting the barbeque ready, Yuna started to set the table up while Miku and Aika were putting their sunscreen on their peachy skin.
Suddenly, Aika dramatically pulled out her pink-ish yellow phone as if her entire life depended on it. "Dang it…!" She muttered, putting her phone back down. "And why are you complaining?" Riku questions his little sister while one of his brows raised. Aika chuckled nervously. "Uhm, no reason! No...reason at all," She averted her gaze, eyes still locked on her phone. "Mhm. Sure, that's totally believable…" He muttered. "Don't worry, big brother," Miku said, joining in the conversation. She smirked at Aika before she replied. "She probably got a text from her boyfr-"
"SHUT UPP!!" Aika shouted at Miku as her face turned red as a tomato. “Miku, don’t do that to your sister. Leave her alone.” Yuna sighs, looking at the three of them before going back helping the rest of the girls. "...This isn't over, the both of you. And please, for once in your life, just get along!" Riku angrily spoke with obvious disappointment with both of his younger siblings. "..Fine, I guess you have a point," Miku said with a surrendering tone. "I'm sorry, Aika." She gritted her teeth as she apologizes to her. Aika inhaled sharply before sighing. "I guess I'm sorry too," She said, catching her gaze only once.
Everyone smiled at their apologies as their little fun of drama was about to begin.
