Adrien laid down on the blue blanket gazing up at the heads of the tall trees and twinkling stars. He turned over on his side to see Nino and Alya laughing together by the fire, roasting marshmallows like being on a camping trip. Marinette crossed his mind and he felt lonely while she wasn't here.
"What's wrong?" A female voice asked. Adrien turned over and looked up at his mom.
"Nothing I'm fine." He replied turning back to look at Nino and Alya.
"Oh you like..." Mrs. Agreste started.
"What! No. It's just I used to have that, but father ruined it." Adrien said bitterly.
"What was the lucky girl's name?" Mrs. Agreste questioned with interest.
"Marinette," Adrien responded. He flicked a branch that was next to his arm.
"What was she like?" His mom continued. Fireflies danced around them, lighting up the darkness bringing light. His mother laid down on the dirt with him.
"Well, Marinette is very sweet, caring, kind, intelligent, clumsy..." He gave a small laugh remembering her always stumbling over her words, "Marinette loves to draw and wanted to become a a fashion designer. She had dark blue hair and these most beautiful midnight blue eyes that I always just got lost in."
"Sounds like you were in love, what happened?" Mrs. Agreste inquired. She moved her elbows a little bit getting her white sleeves dirty, but she didn't care.
"I was... I still am. I wouldn't of had to say goodbye if it weren't for father and his thirst for power, " Adrien started.
"What I'm sorry? What exactly did Gabriel do?" Mrs. Agreste demanded. Her crystal emerald eyes turning dark.
"He is Hawkmoth, mom. He cannot be trusted." Adrien told. "I don't know how to explain but..." Adrien started.
"Hush." His mother whispered putting a finger on his chapped lips. "Do you hear that?" They listened to the wind howling through the trees bringing promises of disaster. When they heard it- the distinct pattern of marching feet.

"So tell me, girl, how was the date?" Alya asked. "Didn't stumble over words?" She joked.
"Marinette playfully punched her in the shoulder, "For your information, it went really well..."
"Just spit it out!" Alya almost shouted.
"It was perfect, " Marinette continued.
"What was?" Chloe asked coming into the conversation. "What was perfect?"
"My date with Luka," Marinette replied blushing.
"Tell us about it!" Chloe asked excitedly. Her blue eyes danced with excitement. "Please."
"Fine to be honest it's hard not to tell you guys, " Marinette laughed. She looked down at her white shoes. "So... Luka surprised me with a deliciously decadent dinner and the most beautiful red rose you guys would ever see."
"Aww how sweet," Rose awed. She fangirled into her two tiny hands. "I ship you guys together- Lukanette!"
All of the girls nodded in agreement. Then they all went quiet, and Alya whispered, "Look its Romeo." Then she smirked as they left to give the two love birds privacy, "Bye Juliet."
Marinette rolled her eyes and waved goodbye to her friends. When she felt arms wrap around her waist and draw her in for a hug. "Hey," Luka whispered into her ear.
"Hey," Marinette replied smiling fiercely. She turned around and ran a hand through his soft black and blue hair messing it up.
Luka laughed as he bent down, brushed her dark blue bangs away and lightly kissed her forehead.

Everyone jumped to their feet and grabbed the nearest weapon to defend themselves. They positioned themselves when a girl with short brown hair ran into the clearing. She just stood there trying to catch her breath. "All of you need to go... Darkblade has doubled his army and has brought a few friends to watch his back. You all need to leave!" Blake yelled before falling to the floor in exhaustion.
Adrien ran up to her, "Blake...?" She grabbed his hand as he lifted her back onto her feet.
"Please," She begged, "Tell them to pack their things and leave as soon as possible." Blake blew her hair out of her face and stared at them all, "What are you doing? You can't take him on your own! Get out and save yourself!"
"You heard what she said! Everyone pack up as fast as you can and let's head out!" Nino commanded, leading the group. They all nodded their heads and started stuffing items into backpacks and slinging it onto their shoulder. Following together they all dashed deeper into the forest.

"Excellent. Part one of my plan is complete." Hawkmoth cackled. A purple translucent mask shown up on his face, "Thank you Darkblade, you can stop now."
"But Sir, I can add to my army of soldiers." Darkblade protested.
"I don't care. My wife and son are in that group and if you harm a hair on their heads, I will strip you of your powers, and leave to fend for yourself." Hawkmoth threatened.
"Yes, Sir." Darkblade whispered back.
"Excellent part B of my plan is on its way." He snickered filling the room with violet light and evilness.
