Chapter 7

Katrina's Pov

We are sitting at the table talking to The Millers.

"So Katrina..."

"You can call me Kat. Everyone does." I said to Victoria

"Ok Kat what is your favorite subject at school?" Victoria asked

"Chorus" I said smiling "I love to sing"

"Really?" Victoria asked

"Yeah" I said nodding.

I looked at Cody and he gave me a nod.

"So I see you two are close?" Victoria said to Cody and I.

"Yeah we are" Cody and I said together

Zach chuckled.

I looked at Cody who is glaring at me.

"They have to work on that" Alison said smiling and went back to eating.

Victoria chuckled.

Cody poked Alison's cheek.

"Po..."

"Alison" My mom hissed

"Yes mommy" Alison said smiling.

"Don't say that word. Only at home" My mom said

"Sowwy" Alison said with a sad smile.

"So how close are you and Cody, Kat?" Richard asked

"He is overprotective of me and Alison. We do a lot of stuff together so we are super close" I explained

"Does Cody take you to parties? I know Zach goes to Parties with his friends a lot so I was wondering if you ever went to one of the parties" Victoria asked

"When my mom knows there is party going on then she makes Cody take me so yes I have been to a party." I said

"Why haven't I seen you there then?" Zach smirked

"Will I stay in the sober around with my best friend." I said nicely to Zach.

Zach nods.

"I heard there is a party going on tomorrow at... What is his name again?" Victoria asked

"Dylan" Zach said

"Are you going Zach?" Victoria asked

"Yes"

"Kat? Cody?" Victoria asked

"Cody has a date for the party and my best friend is going to sleep over so I don't know" I shrugged

Cody nodded in agreement.

"Cody you are take Angela and Katrina to that party" my mom said sternly

"Yes Ma'am" Cody said with a nod

"Good" My mom said

"So Kat what is you favorite song to sing?" Richard asked

"Blown Away and See you again by Carrie Underwood" I said

"Those are emotional songs" Victoria said

"Yeah they are" I said with a nod.

1 hour later

We finally finished dinner. Zach and I didn't talk much.

Zach talked a little when he had to but never asked me questions about different subjects.

I was happy about that.

When we got home, I went to my room and get ready for bed.

I called Angela.

"Hello?"

"Hey. I am finally done with dinner" I sighed

"Talk to me about it"

I told her everything and that my mom is making Cody bring her and me to the party at Dylan's tomorrow.

When I finished we hung up and then I went to sleep.
