Chapter 6

Zach's Pov

I walked into school and I looked around.

Guys scared of me. Girls giggling.

Then I found them. My 4 best friends.

"Hey man" Xander smirked

"Hey" I groaned

"What is wrong with you this morning?" Chris asked

"Tonight is wrong" I hissed

"Oh yeah that stupid dinner" Jake said

"Yeah" I said

I looked behind Jake and saw Katrina talking to Drew.

I started walking to my locker.

I have to go pass them.

"Think about it and get back to me by Wednesday" Drew said to Katrina and walked away.

"He asked her on a date" Reese whispered

My blood started boiling.

Why is this happening?

I shrugged and went to my locker.

I did what I needed to do and then went to my first class.

6 hours later

I walked into my house.

"Zach" My dad said

"Yes sir?" I asked

"Get changed" My dad said giving me an outfit.

"Really?" I asked

"Don't you even dear" My mom hissed "go and get dressed. They will be here in 20 minutes"

"Ok ok" I said and then went upstairs.

Katrina's Pov

I got my outfit from my closet and got dressed for tonight.

Should I tell Cody that Drew asked me out?

Should I accept the date?

I ignored all the questions that is going through my head and got ready for this dinner.

"KATRINA, CODY" My mom yelled 18 minutes later

I walked out of my room. I saw Cody.

"Lets get this over with." Cody said

"I agree" I said and started walking down the stairs.

"After tonight, Never talk to Zach ever again" Cody whispered in my ear when we got outside.

I nodded and my family and I went over to the Millers.

We rung the door bell and Victoria Miller answered.

"Julie" Victoria said smiling

"Hi Victoria" My mom said smiling

Victoria lets us in.

"This is my husband Richard and our son Zach" Victoria said smiling

"Hi" My mom said shacking Richard's and Zach's hands.

"I am Julie. This is my husband Jared. My son Cody, and then my two daughters, Katrina and Alison" My mom said smiling

"Hi" Cody said with an awkward smile.

"Hi" I said with a nod

"Hi" Alison said cheerful

I chuckled at my 5 year old sister.

"How old are you sweetie?" Richard asked Alison.

"5" Alison said smiling

"Cool" Richard said smiling

Victoria, Richard, My mom, My dad, and Alison went and took the tour of their house.

Cody, Zach and I stood there in awkward silence.

Cody and I looked at each other and we had a quick talk without saying a word.

Cody gave me 'don't talk until I do' look.

I nodded.

"So..." Zach said

Cody started glaring at Zach and then took my arm and went and joined our parents.
