Marinette finally has the courage to tell Adrien her true feelings toward him but what she receives is a half-heartbreak. Adrien rejects her and instead, tells her about his feelings for one of Pairs' beloved superheroes, Ladybug.

"I... i- i can't! I won't let you turn me evil!" My holder said. I'm so glad she's not giving in so easily, but I'm also scared. What do I do if the Akuma were to consume her? The butterfly miraculous has never been used for wrong-doing. I'm certain that Ladybug's the only one who could purify the Akuma. I have so many questions.
{Marinette's P.O.V}
"I will not harm the innocent lives of beloved paris!" I informed. I can't believe this is happening. Will I get persuaded like how Madame Boustier did when she turned into Zombizu? Can he force it if my emotions are strong enough?
Think positive, Marinette! Think positive!
I close my eyes and I can feel that something has changed inside. Now I can only think negatively. I open my eyes hearing Hawkmoth's deep voice that I despise.
"Who said anything about harming innocent lives? The boy who broke your heart is not innocent. Break him! Then you shall steal the Cat and Bug miraculous for me. Do we have a deal?" Hawkmoth asked.
I look up at a hovering Tikki. Ocean eyes pleading me to not give in. I love Tikki, I really do, but what Adrien said hurt! I look dead ahead into nothingness. I've decided.
"I accept your offer, Hawkmoth. Give me power, I will make him feel what I have felt!"
{3rd Person P.O.V}
Hawkmoth didn't hesitate for a split second. As soon as Marinette accepted his offer, a black and purple bubbly substance surrounded her. Once it disappeared, there stood Marinette, but not. She looked like Ladybug with some changes.
Her suit and mask now black, spots replaced with purple hearts, hair down and glowing aura around her right fist.
She had a power similar to cataclysm. It was destruction; break things in half, just like how her heart broke in half.
As Navre-bug left for the hunt on Adrien, Tikki started dashing to Master Fu. She was truly frightened. Even if Chat Noir can stop her, he can't purify the Akuma!
[One desperate speed fly later]
Tikki flew through the door a little too aggressively, panting and catching her breath before she spoke. "Master, I need your help. This has never happened before!" Her once cheery voice now filled with worry.
"Tikki? What are you doing here? Where is Marinette?" Master Fu asked in confusion. "Master, I fear that my owner has been akumatized! Without the Ladybug Miraculous we cannot purify the akuma!"
"Has the Miraculous itself been akumatized?" Master Fu asked frantically, getting up from his meditation spot on the floor.
"No, master. The akuma soaked into a note she gave to Adrien. She might be going after him." Tikki explained.
"Hmm, I see. We should warn Chat Noir, and help him capture her Miraculous before Hawkmoth realizes she has one. After that, Chat Noir can put on the Ladybug Miraculous and bring Marinette back to the good side." Master Fu planned, stroking his triangular beard.
All Tikki had to do now was execute the plan. Just like that, she bowed and dashed off, heading to the Agreste Mansion.

Holy crap, sorry I left you guys hanging there for a good, what, two years? I didn't expect this story to get much attention! I'll try to update when I can but if I'm being honest, that might not be for a while. Person life is really complicated for me right now and with school...
