"We're all gonna die, Hoseok!" Mimi voices, rubbing her hands on her face in a frustrated manner.
Hoseok slithers through the kitchen preparing breakfast. All night, Mimi has been in his ear expressing her fear of dying young because of an incident at the mall.
In Mimi's perspective, it seems as though Hoseok isn't bothered by the situation at all which was unusual for him. However, Hoseok was actually shaking in his boots thinking of the well known criminals being close enough to strangle the woman he loves.
He keeps his breathing in tact and his nerves under control as he begins to mix the batter for the waffles. Mimi continues to go on about her life being over and her worrying about Luna and Cheonsa.
After pouring some of the batter into the waffle maker and closing it, he turns to his wife. "Nothing is going to happen, okay?" Mimi looks at him with a doubtful expression showcasing on her face.
"How can you be so sure about that?" She questioned, "Cheonsa called him an asshole with her whole chest, ready to beat the shit out of him! He could've killed us right then and there!"
"But he didn't." Hoseok reminds and it causes Mimi to raise a suspicious brow.
"Why are you so calm about this?" She makes intense eye contact with him and he shifts his weight onto his right foot. He looks at the ground for a second then looks back at her again.
"Listen—" He was interrupted by the waffle maker making a little ding noise, letting him know it's ready.
He turns to take the waffle out and gets ready to put more batter in the waffle maker. Mimi watches him from behind with her eyes squinted.
"I can feel your eyes, it's making me nervous." Hoseok says putting the bowl down and closing the waffle maker again.
"Good." Mimi replies, crossing her arms and continuing to watch him. He attends the other food that was cooking on the stove, mixing, flipping, and buttering everything that needed to be.
Soon enough, little footsteps are heard coming down the stairs and toward the kitchen catching the attention of both adults in the area.
The little boy rubs his eyes, yawning and walking toward his parents.
Hoseok and Mimi's eyes focus on the cute little boy approaching the chair that his mom was sitting on.
"Food." Huimang said yawning. His freshly awakened eyes look up at Mimi and she rubs his messy hair.
Too tired to complain about his hair being messed with, Huimang just leans into his mom's touch and it puts a smile on both Mimi and Hoseok's face.
