Five Months Later...

I told y'all at the end somebody was going to get hurt. It's just this time it was me the most. I lost a baby and Zeus broke up with me. I was in a dark place up until three weeks ago. God does things for a reason so I accepted the fact that our baby was gone and in Heaven where he or she belonged. Yeah it still hurts, but I try not to think about it.
Tonight Keta and Jay invited me out to dinner. I don't know who all coming because I didn't ask. If Zadarius is there I don't know how I'm going to feel. I didn't want to fall in love because I knew this was going to happen. What if he brings someone with him? What if he tries to speak to me? What do I do? What do I say? I want to pick up my phone and tell Keta I can't make it, but then again I'll never hear the last of it. I promised her I'd come and I never break a promise.
I sighed tossing my phone back on the bed. I can do this. I walked into my closet looking for something to wear.
After I had my outfit figured out I lotion my body and put on some underwear. I slipped on my tribal print skirt then I zipped my black half top up. I had to fix the girls so they wouldn't pop out. I added some mascara and lip gloss. I'm not too big on lipstick. I put on my boot cut heels then my sleeveless light washed jean jacket. I put my money, card, and gum in my clutch. Making sure I had everything I grabbed my keys. I turned off all the lights and walked out.

When I pulled up to the restaurant I got kind of nervous and sad again because Darius truck was already here. I promised myself I wouldn't cry.
God please let me get through this dinner without crying. Just humble and strengthen me please. Amen
I got out my car. I fixed my skirt and took a deep breathe. I started walking to the restaurant door.
"Do you have a reservation?" He asked.
"No I'm actually here to meet someone. Last name King." I said.
"Hold on." I nodded. He looked at something on the tablet.
"Are you Ms. Ross?" I nodded.
"Follow me." He said. I followed him toward the back rooms. I've never been here before I hope the food is good. He opened the door for me. I pulled the curtain back so I could go in. Everyone's head turned toward me.
"Trina I'm so glad you could make it." Keta said hugging me. It was something different about her. She was glowing.
"Yeah it's been a while." I said pulling away. I took off a while from working and I barely talked to anyone. I needed to get myself together.
"Hey sis I missed you." Jay said hugging me.
"Yeah I missed you too." I mumbled. I hugged Kurt and T as well. I seen three unfamiliar faces.
"Hi I'm Trina." I said being polite.
"I'm Carlie, Kurt's girlfriend. This is my sister, Denise, and I don't know who she is." Carlie said. I shook their hands.
"Nice to meet you both."
"I love your outfit." Denise said.
"Thanks." I said.
"I'm China, Zeus' girlfriend." She said. I simply nodded. Jay cleared his throat.
"Maybe we should order now." He said. Zeus has a new girlfriend. I guess he really did move on. I put on a fake smile. Keta looked at me saying sorry. I ignored it.
