Jungkook entered the building, the lemongrass and mint odour hitting his nostrils. He usually loved to sniff this smell but today it feels like, the smell isn't that enticing

Instead, he's craving for the particular aroma of freshly baked cakes topped with juicy strawberries and other tropical fruits and a pinch of a particular someone's solicit scent.

He sighed before entering his office to see his father sitting on the big sofa kept on the right side, eyes on the newspaper

"What took you so long?" His father said, rather bluntly as he shifted his glasses and looked at jungkook after keeping the newspaper on the glass worktop

"Was hungry" a rather fleet answer left the ravenette's cold mouth, not fond of his own father.

Their relationship is not what someone would call "family relation". Since jungkook's mother died, his father had been way too cold with him, eventually leading to them being distant. Yes, one might assume that his father has been cold to him because of his wife's death but the fact was it wasn't even a relationship, they were together only because jungkook was keeping them tied and after the death, jungkook and his father broke all ties

"I was just saying, I have been planning your marriage for a very long time and I think it's finally the time. I would like you to meet your fiance today night at this grand hotel I've picked for you" his father said and he snapped his head towards him, a glare shifting in his former cold eyes

"I won't marry anyone just because you tell me to, you don't have a right upon my life" jungkook growled

"I didn't ask you jungkook and I am pretty much sure if you deny what's gonna happen" that was enough for jungkook to shut up.

"Better this way, son" he said and walked away, adjusting his bucket hat and leaving with his stick

"This son of a bastard" jungkook clicked his tongue rather harshly to bite it and hissed at the pain

Right now, he just feels stressed and just wants to have a cup of coffee with a slice of cake

And a particular "bakery chef"
