A broken family is like broken glassware. Some pieces will try to fit back together, some will get lost, some will blame the other pieces for breaking the family, some will keep the family apart. But in the end, like a bunch of magnets, the pieces will come back together and form a new pieces of glass. It will be cracked and perhaps scratchy in places, but the family will have each other. That is because no matter what, they are you're family, and ancient, sacred thing that has been around since the beginning of creation, and will be forever more.
