Sand in my feet, wind in my hair;
The warm hand that clutched mine, told me to stay nearer.

I ran across the shore escaping the crumbling of my sandcastles;
The destructive crystal sea created an illusion far still greater.

Polaroids of our smiles and picnic baskets,
My memories are adorned with those eyes, crabs and mysterious creatures.

I let go of that hand to chase my own horizons,
To uncover the mystery of those shades that clutched me like a creeper.

Those shells that I collected now adorn my watery grave.
How I wish to hold that hand once again, that made me feel safer.

Blue skies, Blue waves, Blue body;
Everything was serene until I went deeper.
