Chapter Three

"You're going to have to tell him eventually," I spoke to Gemma through the phone. "You can't hide it forever."

Gemma was still hesitant to tell Michael about her engagement, while Calum was almost bursting with excitement to tell him. The girl seems to think that he will be mad with her for dating his bandmate in the first place.

"I know, but I can always hold it off for a bit longer, right?"

I sigh. "Look, Gem, this is your love life, not mine. Do what you this is right. Personally, I would tell Mike, but that's up to you." Giving advice probably isn't my strong suit.

The bedroom door opens slightly, enough for me to see a little eye peeking in. When you're a parent, you don't get privacy. I chuckle quietly. "I have to go, looks like someone wants me. Talk later?"

"Yeah. We have to meet up soon, I feel like I haven't seen you since you had Bentley!" That almost wasn't an exaggeration. Family keeps me occupied alot now.

"I know! Alright, see you later. Bye!" Gemma disconnets the call first, allowing me to open the door fully, a little Bentley with a big smile on his face standing there. "Hey there Bud!"

He giggles as he jumps onto the bed, "Are we going to pack of Os-tray-lee-uh?" He asks sweetly, looking up at me.

"I nearly forgot about that!" I laughed. "Let's start with your stuff, shall we?" He nods enthusiastically and runs out of my room, presumably toward his. I take his suitcase that was stashed in my wardrobe and follow him.

All four of our kids had a themed bedroom each, except the twins who shared. Bentley loved music, much like Shawn, so that's what his room theme was. There were music notes all over the walls, and an acoustic guitar that Shawn had given him.

Eloise loved ballet and the colour pink, so her room was decorated as such. Cute hooks hung ballet slippers on the wall, she had a four poster bed with lace and frilly fabrics for her bedspread.

The twins loved wile animals and jungles, so they had a cutesy jungle themed wallpaper on one wall, and lots of giant stuffed toys, such as tigers and giraffes

Once I reached his room, I found him jumping on his bed. "Bentely," I warned. "What have I told you about jumping on your bed?"

"Not to do it," he answered quietly. "Sorry Mamá."

I smiled, ruffling his hair. "I forgive you bud. Now. Let's see what clothes you have." In the blink of an eye, the blonde boy hopped down from his bed and was beside me, looking at his clothing.

I pulled out multiple outfits, for both warm and cold temperatures, along with matching shoes. In absolutely no time at all, his suitcase was full.

"What about my bed?" He asked. "My bed won't fit in that, it's too big!" As I am a nkce mother, I held in my laughter. Though, to say I wasn't internally dying would be a lie.

"Bently baby," I say calmly, a small smile on my face. "We don't need to bring a bed. We are staying at a hotel which has beds for us to sleep in already."

He lets out a soft 'oh'.

"How's your Spanish going, Bent?" I asked, changing the subject so I wouldn't embarrass him further. "Have you been practising?"

He nods. "I can count to ten! And I can greet people! And I can in-tro-duce myself! But German is hard."

"It is a bit, isn't it? If you keep practising though, you'll learn it in no time. Show me how you count to ten."

"Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez!"

"Well done! High five!" I held my hand up for him to hit. "Okay, what about greetings?"

He hesitates for a moment. "Hola, es un placer conocerte." He thinks again. "And, 'hola mi nombre es Bentley'."
["Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you." "Hello, my name is Bentley."]

"Well done Ben! I'm so proud of you!" I embraced him in a bear-like hug, making him squeal and try to wriggle free. "Love you!"

"Te amo tambien mamá."
["I love you too, mum."]
