Sir Williams dismissed the class and allowed the squires to bring back their gear to their dorm. Kevin ran over with a flask of water for the knight.

"Sir Williams, ye water."

Sir Williams accepted the flask.

"From now on, ye do not need to do these kinds of things." He told the servant.

"I heard from Taylor that ye don't like people touching your belongings. I will be more mindful in the future."

"I am sure ye also heard that I never had a squire before." The knight said.

Kevin nodded.

"I dislike people touching my belongings, but more than that I dislike empty pedagogy." Sir Williams said. "Ye aren't training to become a knight or a squire, there is nothing for ye to learn from me. Instead of running around trying to please me, rest and let ye rib fractures heal."

Sir Williams finished what he had to say and left the courtyard. Kevin never told the knight that he injured, how did the knight know? Kevin placed his hand where he was injured. Did the knight found out and purposely told him not do any work, so he could rest?

The servants spent the whole day preparing a feast for the knights. The knight residence was celebrating Sir Williams' victory. It wasn't everyday that the people including the servants were able to eat meat. In the dining hall, the knights and squires were taking their seats. The kitchen servants were filling each dining table with fruits, bread, eggs, desserts, tomato soup, and various types of cooked vegetables.

Everin was excited as this was her first time sitting in the dining hall to eat a meal. Last time, Taylor invited her, but she couldn't attend because of Sir Ryker. Kevin sat next to Everin also thinking about tonight's entrée. They were seated on the opposite end of the knights since they were lower ranked. A group of male servants carried trays with loafs of meat on them to each and every table. They placed it down and started to cut the meat into steak size for each and every person. Everin waited patiently for her slice. Kevin got his steak and it was larger than his plate. She handed into her plate and when she got it back, she was disappointed to find half a palm sized piece of steak.

She looked at Kevin's plate and compared it to hers. Why was Kevin's slice of meat larger than hers? Before the male servant could leave, Everin grabbed that thug by the collar.

"Young man! Are ye discriminating against me because I am a regular servant!?" Everin lashed out at the servant.

The male servant was flustered by the lad. Everin pointed at her plate.

"Does this look like a piece of steak to you? It's even smaller than my fist!" Everin held her tiny fist at the male servant's face.

The servant apologized and said that that was all that was left.

"Everin, calm down. You can take mine." (Everin shushed Kevin.)

"No uh uh." Everin said. "I will take care of this."

Sir Lee saw the upset lad pressing the male servant and he couldn't help, but snicker. Sir Williams also spotted the commotion and turned his head away with indifference.

"Undignified." Sir Williams criticized.

"Isn't it fun to watch though?" Sir Lee asked. "There is not a day of boredom since the lad came."

Sir Lee requested another servant to take the remaining steak at their table to the lad.

"Hope you don't mind."

"Whatever suits you." Sir Williams said taking a sip of water out of his cup.

The other servant came over with more servings of steaks and rescued the servant being pressed by Everin. When Everin got what she wanted, she sat down to enjoy her meal. Her steak was now the same size as Kevin's.
