Before I knew it, he was inside the limo and my knees caved.

Hindi ako nakapagsalita at habang tinititigan ko ang papalayong limo niya, I broke down and cried.

Drowned in my own tears, I felt Ichi drape a blanket over me.
"Aliyah..."
His voice disgusted me.
But I was too devastated to even think.
Iyak ako ng iyak kahit alam ko na hindi na siya babalik.
Hindi ko alam kung gaano ako ka tagal nakaluhod doon pero it wasn't until Ichi lifted me up that I couldn't feel a muscle in my body.
Then my mind went blank.
The next thing I knew, naka higa na ako sa isang kama with Ichi sitting at the edge of the room.
I close my eyes.
"Bakit hindi mo nalang ako pinatay?" I calmly ask.
Mas gusto ko pang mamatay kaysa mamulat sa katotohanan na wala na siya sa tabi ko.
Kieth was and always will be my everything.
There's no point in living if he's not in my life.
"You're awake." He looked at me, relieved.
Oh how I wish Kieth looked at me like that.
Lumapit si Ichi and reached out to caress my cheek...
But I swatted his hand away.
"Don't touch me."

He calls out my name pero hindi ako tumingin sa kanya. I turned the other way.

For a minute, he went silent.
Walang nagsalita sa amin and I really thought he got the picture and would leave.
But the next thing he said got my attention.
"So, are you gonna give up?"
And just like that, I felt my heart stop at his question.
