Hello, wonderful readers!
I don't normally write posts like this, but I feel like this needs to be addressed.
After reading through the comments, I've noticed that there seems to be some confusion about Dahlia's age. People seem to think that, because the characters and narrator frequently call her a child, Dahlia is a teenager or possibly even younger. Dahlia's age is given in the first chapter. She's twenty-two years old, the same as Vince. Calling her a child is just a demeaning term similar to how Demetri calls her "little rat" or "vulture." It's not meant to be taken literally. It's just a way of showing the little respect everyone, even the narrator, has for her.
Anyway, I apologize for any confusion my stylistic choice may have caused, haha. Hopefully this clears that up.
Thanks for reading!
