Riley's POV:
I walked in with Lucas and Farkle and I saw maya on the couch doing something.
Her thumb was covered up with gauze tape.
"Hey maya. Are you ok?" Lucas asked.
Gosh Lucas she's fine!
"Oh hey. Yeah I'm fine." Maya said.
"Maya can you please go upstairs. My friends and I want to stay here." I said.
"Riley." Farkle said.
"Actually I was thinking of going out." Maya said standing up.
She grabbed her jacket and left.
Lucas' POV:
Maya left and I followed.
I saw maya walking away. No running. I caught up with her.
"Maya what are you doing?" I asked her.
"Walking." She said a little out of breath.
"Come on."
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see."
I intertwined her hand with mine and I ran. She ran too and she was laughing. I laughed along with her. We arrived at a cafe.
We walked in.
"Since it's cold outside I thought that we should get hot chocolate." I said.
"Thanks." Maya said.
I walked up to the cashier and maya sat down. I asked for two hot chocolates and once I got them I walked back over to maya.
I handed a cup to her and I sat down.
"are you cold?" I asked looking at a pale maya.
"A little." She said.
I got up and took my jacket off. I wrapped it around maya. She snuggled into it.
Maya then tried the hot chocolate. She smiled after sipping it.
"You like it?" I laughed.
Maya smiled.
"Yeah." She said.
----
After walking around a little I dropped maya off at her front door.
"Thanks Lucas I had fun." Maya said.
"We'll anything. Hey want me to pick you up for sch-" I was interrupted.
Maya pressed her lips against mine.
She separated about 5 seconds later.
"Bye Lucas." Maya said and left.
