Episode 26 - Ako at hindi siya

Nilagay ko ang mat sa corner at in-adjust ang mga gamit na natabig ko.

Just then, sumunod si V sa akin at pumasok sa kwarto.

"Huy, pigs, galit ka ba?"

He tries to get me to look at him pero dineadma ko lang siya.

Akala ko ba busy ka sa yoga mo?

Dun ka nalang.

I avoid him and go out of the room.

Sumunod siya and he frantically tried to get my attention.

"Myrah naman oh, look at me!" He jumped in front of me with a playful smile. "Please?"

I raise an eyebrow and walk pass him.

"Alright, you win. I get it. Sorry na piiigsss ~" He caught up to me and hugged me from the back.

Oh so now you do cuddles?

"Bitawan mo nga ako." I say coldly.

I'm not gonna make this easy for you boy, lambingin mo muna ako.

He buries his face in my neck. "No."

Hoy gago kakawork-out lang natin! I'm sweaty and I smell!

Even though he knows this very well, ayaw pa rin niya akong bitawan.

Naramdaman ko ang hininga niya sa leeg ko.

My face started to heat up at bigla kong nakalimutang huminga.

Pota.

I sigh in defeat.

"V."

"Hmm?"

Jokes and flirting aside, this is as good a time as any.

I should just be frank with him.

"This isn't like you. What happened while I was in the hospital?" I've been meaning to ask him since we got here.

Kanina pa siya hindi mapakali.

Sa ospital pa lang, parang nagmamadali siyang makalabas dun.

Parang palaging may naka okupa sa isip niya pero ayaw niyang mapahalata sa akin.

V was silent for a while and the atmosphere began to become serious.

I felt him sigh.

"Nothing. I'm just...nervous I guess." He lifts his head from my neck and I turn to face him.

"Nervous?"

He smiles uncomfortably and a drop of sweat runs down his face.

"About...the project that we're gonna work on." He avoided my eyes and he lowered the tone of his voice. I could feel that he was a bit embarrassed to admit it.

Not only that pero I could see na may pagaalinlangan sa mga mata niya.

As if it's more than just about the work.
