Chapter 18

"I'm fine let's go" I said knowing I'm not fine but i didn't wanna say that. I got out the car and waited for Jack to lock it and get his stuff out. We walked up to the door and Daniel opened it for us.
"Hey your back soon" He says and smiles showing his tooth gap.
"Yeah I needed some alcohol in my system" I say and walked into their kitchen. I grabbed a red cup from the bag they had and poured some vodka I think. I don't know I just needed alcohol. I drank the whole cup and set it done on the kitchen table. I looked up and immediately made accidental eye contact with Zach. Jonah came over and grabbed a cup too
"Don't drink too much either that's bad for you" He says as he poured himself a cup.
"Soooo y/n" Jack says and walks to stand next to me
"Soo Jack, what" I ask
"What are we doing for your birthday? It's in less than a week" He asks and I punched his arm lightly
"I thought you weren't gonna make a big deal out of it" I say annoyed. I don't really like people knowing it's my birthday because I don't like getting attention.
"Wait it's almost your birthday?" Corbyn asks
"Yeah why didn't you tell us" Daniel asks
"I just don't like getting attention so I try not to tell so many people" I shyly say
"Your turning 17 right?" Jonah says
"Yeah"
"Oh so you were born the same years as Zach just late in the year" Jonah adds
"Yeah it kinda sucks having a birthday during the school year it makes it harder to avoid getting attention from everyone" I respond
"We have to throw you a party!" Zach says out of nowhere.
"Yesss that would be so fun!" Corbyn says
"It'll be our first party with you" Daniel says excited. Zach came into the kitchen with me Jack and Jonah and Corbyn follows behind him. Zach continued walking to me and stood in front of me and grabbed my hands. I looked up at him to look at his eyes and saw him looking down at me smiling.
"Cmon y/n it'll distract you from everything and you'll get to finally have at least some fun" He says and swings our hands.
"I don't know I don't really have the best experiences or memories with parties" I say nervously remembering what happened the last time I went to one which was when I was still dating Liam.
"Pleeease" He whines and does puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip.
"Maybe"
"It's not a no so it's technically a yes" He says and his smile grows wider.
"Wait so when eve rn is your birthday" Corbyn says and pours himself a drink too. I let go of Zach's hands.
"On Friday" I say quietly and take a sip of my drink.
"WhAt you should've told us sooner we're gonna have to plan this all fast" Corbyn says
"Have fun with that it was your guys' idea soooo" I respond and smile. I grab my cup and sit down on one end of the couch and go on my phone. Someone sat next to me but I was on my phone and didn't notice until he coughed do get my attention. I turn to my left and see Zach.
"Oh sorry I didn't notice you" I say with a nervous laugh.
"It's fine but we're good right?" He asks hesitantly
"Yeah, why ?" I respond and turn more to face him. I look slightly to my left and see Jack looking over at us but I ignored him.
"I just wanna make sure I didn't lose you because I made a fucking stupid mistake. You know I do care about you, right?"
"Yeah and thanks it's usually not easy for me to open up to anyone but I don't know it was different with you, your just an easily trustable person and I need more people in my life like that" I say and smile. He smiles back and his cheeks turned a slight shade of pink, more than usual. "Aww are you blushing" I say teasingly
"Noooo" He says and covers his cheeks. I giggled and moved his hands.
"Yeah you are" I say smiling and still holding his hands.
"Am not" He says and laughs
"So y'all made up fast" Corbyn says and sits in the other side of Zach.
"Yeah I realized the one that made me more upset was Brianna not Zach" I say and smile.
"Wait did you guys take her and Ashley home?" I ask just remembering I left when they were still there.
"Yeah it was done though" Jonah responds from the kitchen.
"Yeah besides Brianna giving Zach negative 5 feet of space" Daniel says
"Yeah and she tried kissing him at least 10 times" Jack adds
"Ok 1 why are you all starting your sentences with 'yeah' and 2 sorry you had to deal with her Zach" I say with a small chuckle.
"It's fine she would've found a way to annoy me one way or another" Zach says and laughs
"Yo you know what we should do later" I randomly say
"What" All the guys respond
"MOVIE NIGHT" I say excitedly.
"YES" Jack exclaims
"HARRY POTTER" Jonah says loudly
"NO NOT AGAIN" Corbyn shouts
"NO" Daniel shouts
"WHY ARE WE YELLING" Zach shouts
"I DONT KNOW" Jack responds
"Why don't we stop yelling" I say and everyone goes quiet and look at me. I smile knowing they hated that horrible joke.
"Leave" Corbyn says
"Now" Jonah says
"Please" Daniel says. I burst out laughing
"That was a horrible joke-" Zach begins
"A VERY horrible joke" Jonah adds
"That was a very horrible joke but don't leave" Zach says
"I wasn't planning on leaving anyways" I say and smile. I look out the window and see it's starting to get kinda dark outside.
"If I fall asleep I'm staying and no one is waking me up" I say as Jonah got up and opened a thing filled with movie boxes.
"So. Y/n." Jack says
"So. Jack."
"Do you want ice cream?" He says and opens the freezer.
"YES. Is that even a question!?" I respond. He grabbed a small bucket of ice cream and walked over to hand it to me
"I know you love cookie dough so here's some cookie dough ice cream but DONT finish it all" He says as he handed me the thing of ice cream
"Jack Robert Avery I love you for this"
"You better" He says and pretends to flip his hair like a diva and walks away.
"FOUND THEM" Jonah says and holds up all the Harry Potter movie boxes.
"Are we watching ALL 8 of them" I ask
"Duh" He responds
"Don't worry he'll be the only one awake by the time they're over" Daniel says. Jonah puts the movies in and turns off all the lights. Jack sat next to Corbyn on the couch me and Zach were on, Daniel and Jonah sat on the other smaller couch.
