Shivaay leaned back his head, giving a little stretch to his neck after hours of working on his thesis when he heard the knock on the door.
"Hey!" She greeted him.
"Hi!", he paused, trying to read the expression on his face.
"I missed dinner again, didn't I?" He sighed.
Annika chuckled as she plated the McDonald's she brought along.
"Just by few hours!"
"Look, I'm really very sorry! I did set a reminder for our date but I don't know how it slipped out!" Shivaay apologised, trying to make up to his girlfriend.
"Shiv, I understand that your thesis is very important and the due is just around the corner. So, chill. I'll just put some food inside you and then leave so that you can complete it. What say?"
"I would want you to stay!" Shivaay grinned.
"I would love to do so, but your thesis will get jealous!"
