“Your cute when you blush” Luke whispered as he kissed the top of my head
“Shut up” I said with a smile as I teasingly pushed him away and left the room
Gabby’s POV:
-At the Music Store-
“What kind of drumsticks are you looking for Ash?” I questioned as we made our way to the entrance
“I don’t have a certain type, I just browse to see what’s there and then choose” the man full of decisions
As soon as we walked through the front door of the store, I noticed something weird with Ashton. He was differently. He kept looking over to the front counter then back down at the drumsticks, this process went on for 5 minutes
I smacked in the shoulder “Hey what is up with you?”
He looked at me like he was hurt, which he wasn’t “Nothing is up with me im just looking at drumsticks”
I raised an eyebrow at him, knowing that wasn’t the truth. However I just shook it off and kept roaming the store aimlessly waiting for Ash to pick a pair of drumsticks.
I glanced up at him once more and that’s when I saw it, he was staring right at the girl at the counter. She had her strawberry blonde hair up in a ponytail, I think her eyes were brown (when I got a decent look at her face) and she was approximately 5’7 to 5’8.
I walked over to the counter and I just stood there looking at this girl my brother couldn’t take his eyes off of.
She jumped when she saw me standing there “Oh hello, how can I help you?”
“Oh nothing really, but you see that guy over there” I pointed over to my brother who had his back turned to us
She nodded her head “He thinks you’re really pretty”
She started blushing “So what’s your name?” I asked curiously
“Oh my name is Gwen” pretty name I thought
“Hi Gwen, I’m Gabby and that is my brother Ashton, the one who thinks you’re pretty” she was trying to hide her face due to the fact that she was blushing
Gwen and I started talking for a bit, I wanted to get to know the girl my brother was probably more likely than not be dating soon. Ashton still kept looking at the drumsticks even though he had been looking in the same place the entire time. It was almost like watching a dog chase its tail in circles for hours and hours and hours.
“I FOUND THEM” I jumped at the sudden sound of Ashton’s voice as it boomed through the store.
I called back with the same enthusiasm “THAT”S GREAT ASH!!” he looked at me knowing I was being a wise ass
We walked over to us and I knew that this was the moment to get this whole Gwen and Ashton relationship going. “Hey Ash have you met Gwen”
He shook his head and just smiled “Well then let me introduce you two then, Ashton this is Gwen, Gwen this is my brother Ashton” I looked at the both of them seeing what they would do or start talking about.
“Nice to meet you” Gwen tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear
“Nice to meet you too beautiful” he just smiled
I grabbed the keys to the car from Ashton’s back pocket and was making my way to the door “Well you guys keep talking, get to know one another and just talk. See ya!” I left the store with the feeling that when my brother comes home tonight he might be on the road to a girlfriend.
-Back at the house-
Faith’s POV:
The door suddenly flew open and in came a soaked Gabby.” Looked like someone got caught in the rain”
She gave me a look that basically said “shut up” as she walked over to the couch and plopped down. I looked over at Cara and we both shrugged.
“What’s up Gab?” I asked curiously
“Oh nothing Ashton just forgot to tell me it was going to rain today so on my way over here, it started down pouring and the roof was malfunctioning so it was stuck and I ended up driving home in the rain.” She just stared at me with no expression on her face
“Oh im sorry, but why wasn’t Ashton in the car with you?” she immediately looked away and an evil grin spread across her face.
“Gabby!?!?!?!” I scooted closer to her
We all remained silent, just waiting for Gabby to respond “GABBY!!!!” shouted Mikey, we all just looked at him shocked, since it wasn’t like him to shout, especially to any of us
“Ok ok geez” we all leaned forward ready to listen “so you all know Ash and I went to get him new drumsticks so when we got there, the girl that was working there immediately had Ashton hooked. So I went to talk to her then when Ash was ready to leave, I made them start talking then I grabbed his keys and left.” She bit her lip and tried to avoid our gaze. We all just sat there shocked,
