Chapter 24:
Mikey’s POV:
“Guilty!” my jaw just dropped
“What the HELL?” shouted Luke as we all stood up in shock?
I just looked around the whole court house and basically every fan that was in this court room was going frantic. I was freaking out myself. This was complete crap, we didn’t do anything wrong and if the jury believed the Officer’s “lied” side of the story they were the most stupidest jury that I have seen.
“Order! ORDER!” the judge tried to calm down the crowd but he wasn’t having any success because we were all still shocked of the decision that the jury came up with.
We all shut-up and just sat there in “awe” (not in the positive way). I couldn’t believe that we were being convicted and being thrown in jail for something we didn’t even do.
“Well the decision has been made much to my chagrined, the following members of 5SOS are to be convicted and put in jail for the physical abuse of the victims. I will give you 5 minutes to say good-bye then I will have you escorted out and gone” the judge seemed sad that we were convicted I think he knew we didn’t abuse our girlfriends and sisters.
I got up from my seat and looked over at Faith and she looked as if she was about to cry. I couldn’t bear to see her cry. I felt as if my heart just broke into a million pieces, I didn’t want to be away from Faith’s side nor wish to abandon her like this. I had broken too many promises and now I was breaking another of telling her that I wouldn’t be convicted and I was to be with her soon.
I pulled her in my arms without saying a word to her. I didn’t know what to say to her at this point because I didn’t have any words that could possibly comfort her.
“Faith?” she nodded her head briefly and I lifted her chin so I was looking into her gorgeous brown eyes.
“Please don’t cry, okay? This isn’t good-bye, I prom-, I will find a way out of this mess ok?” she was trying her hardest to keep those tears back, but it came to the point where she couldn’t hold back anymore, tears just started falling down her cheeks.
I wiped her away her falling tears and just gave her a reassuring smile. I pulled her close so we were inches apart then I softly kissed her lips, I didn’t want this moment to end. I wish I could just stay here with Faith and never leave.
“Ok, your 5 minutes are up, I will have bailiff escort you out now” The judge was hesitant to say the words to remove us from the room. Before I knew it we were basically being dragged out of the court room by the bailiff’s. The lads and I were trying to struggle out of their grip but we couldn’t do anything about it we were leaving our girls again and it broke my heart just to leave Faith like this.
“WAIT!!!!!!” a voice shouted from the back of the court room.
Everyone turned their heads and looked to see the source of the voice. In the back of the room there stood a group of girls who looked around the same age as Faith, Cara and Gabby. I had never seen these girls in my life however when they walked forward to the front of the court room, they were greeted immediately by Gabby, Cara and Faith.
