To the years...

To the years that I've been writing
Documenting my life,
I appreciate you all for coming
Reading my journals of strife
I look back on the things I wrote
Through heartbreak and happiness
My feelings were so strong it felt like a stroke
I looking back on these poems in bliss
To think I felt so many emotions through this
And now I'm about to graduate
Isn't that great
I feel like my time with this book should come to an end
My heart is no longer on the mend
Maybe I'll need you in another heartbreak
But the future really is looking great

Here lies many memories for me
And tonight I set them all free

Thank you so much for reading this book! When I started writing this I was a sophomore in high school still in trying to find my way. I wrote about a lot of people in my life who I loved, looking back it's interesting to see how almost none of them remain in my life today. I am much happier now. I will always appreciate my readers and I hope you could relate to these poems as greatly as I meant them to. As I move on in my life I will always remember these and look back as a remeberance that I found myself. Again thank you for reading 😘
