The battle field is empty
The fighting is coming to an end
But is there not a victory
No one did winWe thought fighting was the only way
That war would lead to peace
But my head can't wrap its self around the fact that all I did was bleedI feel like you are not there
That your injuries do not suffice
Somehow I got hurt more
By this stupid stupid warWhat did I do wrong
What did I make you feel
Did you not want to know
Did you not want to healI think it's all my fault
That you didn't want a war
Maybe I was blind
Maybe I'm to tornBut now the fog has cleared
The truth has come out
Bodies lay dead
Soldiers who fought for our boutThe ones who took pity
The ones who followed
There is nothing left
We are both left hollowed
