Better

I found someone better
Who treats me like a queen
He makes me so happy
It all feels like a dream
If I were to wake up tomorrow and none of this was real
Would you still be here? Tormenting me?

Sometimes you text, but only when you need me
It took me a while but I finally found the key
Someone special who really likes me
Someone who doesn't treat me like a flea

He understands me, which you never did
And makes me feel safe which you forbid
His life isn't full of secrets like yours
And he motivates me and makes sure I soar
All you did was push me down
But he makes sure I never frown
