I thought if I was quite it wouldn't hurt
I thought if I didn't hear your voice it wouldn't
tear me apart
But when I couldn't wait any longer
when I couldn't see your smile
When everything I loved about you was gone
My heart didn't know how to go along
I was so damn wrong
I though by leaving you alone I'd have closure
That I could get over
But now I'm left here in tears
With no one left to help me get over my fears
Watch as I get stuck through the years
To miss your sweet words I used to hear
I though I could handle it
I should never have been so quiet
