Nagising ako ng naramdaman kong May nakatingin sakin. Bumangon ako mula sa pagkakahiga at nakita ko si Phoenix na nakasandal sa pinto

"Ever heard about privacy Phoenix?"

He smirked at me and ran his hand on his red hair

"Nope, never heard of it" He said at lumapit sa kama ko. He sat at the corner of my bed and looked at me

"Galit parin ba sakin si Nexus" tanong ko dito habang nakayuko.

"Alam mong hindi namin kayang magalit sayo Seah, it's just that...Nexus expresses his concern in a peculiar way" pagpapaliwanag ni Phoenix

"I'm sorry" I said.If I haven't wandered off them my life wouldn't have been put in danger. Hindi na sana sila nag-alala

Naramdaman kong ipinatong ni Phoenix ang kamay nya sa ulo ko

"Silly girl, we should be the one's who's sorry. Hindi ka namin naprotektahan" he said while patting my head

Nang tumigil ang paghaplos nya sa buhok ko ay tumitig ako sa kanya, he has this serious look on his face

" I have to tell you something "

"W-What is it?" I said while stammering dahil nakakadistract kung gaano kaseryoso ang mukha nya

"At the center of the Four Divisions here in Akeldama, there is an Academy called 'Eva'. It was built so that the four divisions would obtain peace and cooperation. Every human in the age of 19-21 is required to study there for 4 years, it goes the same for Vampires with ages 500-550. This year, Nexus and I are required to attend the Academy"

"You and Nexus? Wait what? 500-550? Then does that mean that you twins are 500 years old!?!!!!!" I said shockingly. What the fuck?

Napakamot si Phoenix sa batok nya "Well. That is true. I'm 499 years old to be exact, about to be 500 just 10 minutes from now" he explained

I looked at the clock. It's 11:50pm

"Your birthday is tomorrow!?" Mas lalong lumaki ang gulat ko

He just nodded

"H-How? P-paano ka naging ganoon katanda. You guys just look like the same age as I am" nagtatakang tanong ko. I still can't believe it

"Vampires age slower than Humans, that's because our sense of time is different from yours. If you convert it to Earthlanders age, we are just 20 yrs old. 25 years here is equivalent to 1 year in yours, that's why we don't age that much"

"Iiwan nyo na ako?" Nalulungkot na sabi ko sa kanya. Naramdaman ko ang panginginit ng gilid ng mga mata ko

"Why? Ayaw mo bang maiwan" He said, amused

Hindi ako nagsalita

"We'll be gone just for 4 years, it's not that long"

And by that, tumulo na ang luhang kanina ko pa pinipigilan. Mula sa pagiging amused ay naging mukhang nag-aalala ang itsura nya

" I-I understand. M-Mag-iingat kayo doon." I said while sobbing, I can't help it. I just cried there, kahit na pinipigilan ko, I can't stop sobbing

"H-Hey, why are you c-crying?" Phoenix asked. Halatang hindi nya alam kung anong gagawin nya para mapatahan ako

"I just thought that you guys wouldn't leave me. Y-You're the only family I have" I said as I buried my face in my knees

Narinig kong bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto ko. Kahit na hindi ako mag-angat ng tingin ay alam kong si Nexus iyon

"Phoenix, you bastard what did you do?" Tanong ni Nexus kay Phoenix

"H-Hey, I didn't do anything"

Inangat ko ang mukha ko and there I saw Nexus. Lumambot ang expression ng mukha nya nang makita akong umiiyak. Lumapit sya sakin at pinunasan ang luha sa pisngi ko

"Stupid, you know that we can't leave you. Of course you're coming with us"Nexus said

Mas lalong lumakas ang hagulgol ko.

"Now you made it worse" Pagbibintang ni Phoenix kay Nexus

"H-Hey, I didn't do anything" depensa ni Nexus

Tumingin silang dalawa sakin at kahit umiiyak ay nginitian ko sila

"Thank you, and happy birthday, Nexus, Phoenix" sabi ko at niyakap silang dalawa ng sabay. I'm really thankful that I met these guys. Finally, I'm not alone

"It's been centuries since someone greeted us on our birthday" Sabi ni Phoenix at naramdaman ko na niyakap din nya ako

"Thank you Seah, don't worry, we won't leave you. Ever" Nexus said As I felt him hug me tighter

Eva Academy, I hope nothing bad happens once I set foot in you
