Ordinary girl

You see I'm not like her,

I don't cover myself like a clown,

I don't wear small clothes,

And make other girls frown.

I don't walk around with my head held high,

Because who knows what they'll do?

I'd never be like her,

I'd swear to Jesus if I had to!

I see the looks she gets,

Especially the ones the boys make,

Doing things she does,

Would definitely be a mistake.

You see,

I'm not trying to look like a doll,

That's sold at toy stores,

I'm just an ordinary girl,

Who's just a plain boring bore.
