back at the trap house
we just got back to the trap house from our little road trip. my phone is still blowing up with #cadelelaide and it's the number one trending topic on twitter.
my arm is feeling a lot better from all the pain killers. i'm about to leave to go get elle, mochi and posie from my noni's and grandpa's house. then i'll be heading back to my apartment cause i have classes tomorrow.
i have introduction to audio recording and editing, introduction to music technology, the basics of the music industry and songwriting 1. i go to USC/ USC Thornton School of Music.
2 days later
"hiii colby" i said getting into his car. "hey ad" he said as he turned down the radio. "how were your classes today?" he asked me. i let out a sigh, beginning to explain how i got a B on my songwriting exam. i always keep up my grades. i rarely get anything lower than an A. schooling comes before anything for me.
"will you sing your song for me?" colby asked. "i would but i need my piano" i said grinning at him. "hm well i guess you'll have to sing it when we get back to your apartment" "who said i was going back to my apartment tonight?" i smirked at him. "you're so cute adelaide." i hid my face in my hands he thinks you're cute "thank you" i said quietly as he turned left onto the wrongs street.
"you turned the wrong way colbs." i said. "it's okay, i know a different way to go" he replied to me. i just nodded, picking at my broken acrylic nail. i grabbed colby's phone, switching to the next song on his playlist. ocean drive by duke demont. perfect. i started quietly singing along.
"your voice is so pretty ad" colb said as he turned onto another street. "oh stop it, you're making me blush" i said giggling. he has to like me, right? he keeps complimenting me.
soon he pulled up to my nail salon? "why are we here" i asked laughing. "face it ad, your nails look like shit. c'mon." he said opening my car door for me. i thanked him as we walked up to the nail salon. "you're not paying for me i hope you know." i said as he began pulling his wallet out. "oh yes i am. you deserve it. you had a rough day at school." i grinned at him and thanked him again. this has to be the sweetest boy ever he sat with me as i got my nails done, just talking about absolutely nothing.
i didn't realize how bad my nails were... three of my nails on the left hand were broke from when i fell and 2 on my right hand.

"thank you so much colby, you don't realize how much i appreciate this." i said hugging him as i walked out of the nail salon. "it's seriously okay addi, you deserve it" he said smiling at me.
he then pulled into the parking lot of tender greens... our favorite. we both ordered, him not allowing me to pay.
"i'm gonna run to the bathroom to pee, ill be right back." he said. i nodded, going on my phone. i started looking at the cadeleaide hashtag again. pictures of colby and i at the nail salon were up now. pictures of him opening my door, pictures of him paying, sitting with me and pictures of me hugging him as we left.
after dinner, colby took me back home.

"mads!!" i said hugging her as she got out of her car. "addi we have so much to catch up on." she said back to me. i nodded, agreeing with what she said.
we sat down after getting our orders. madeline has been one of my best friends for like ever. we've always been super close. honestly i hang out and talk to her more than i talk to alexis and i live with lex.
"so um i think i um might like um.... colby." i said looking up from my food to see her reaction. she broke out in a huge grin and started laughing "i could tell just by the way you two look at each other" she said to me. "i don't think he likes me though." i said "you're kidding right?? he's like straight up in love with you adelaide. he literally takes care of your dogs for you and you guys have those special ribbon things for when you go to abandoned places. adelaide rose nolan, that boy likes you big time." we talked about colby and i for a little while longer.
"jake and i went on our first date last night!" madeline exclaimed to me. "you're kidding! i'm so happy for you!!" we talked about them for a bit longer before heading back to my apartment to have a girls night. kat and devyn ended up coming over too so the four of us hung out.

three days later (saturday)
colby and i are sat at a little restaurant in malibu, malibu farms, having brunch.
"adelaide, i can't get you off my mind. your personality, your eyes, your body, your voice, your laugh. everything about you is so perfect. i guess i just wanted to know if you'd maybe go on a date with me?" colby said to me
i look at him, smiling. "of course colby. i really really like you too" i said grinning
