chap 15; date

i was about to scream, but then a hand covered my mouth.

the person spinned me around, revealing shawn.

i let out a sigh of relief

"holy shit shawn. i thought you were my dad" i told him and held onto my heart to control my breathing (she's panting okay. i suck at explaining things so 😂)

"i'm so sorry em. i just wanted some alone time" shawn said and then hugged me

i hugged back. "it's okay shawn. but you better hurry up because i'm hungry" i told him

"okay. you. me. date. dinner. tonight." shawn told me

"tonight?" i asked him

"tonight" shawn repeated with a goofy grin

"fine. but we better get back with the group before they start freaking out" i told shawn

"nahh. i told them that i'm gonna take you. so for the first night, it's only us two. no boys, no nobody. just us. having a romantic dinner" shawn told me and interwined our fingers

"are we gonna sleep at the same hotel with the group?" i asked shawn

"we are. but we're gonna have a room to ourselves. and it's gonna be a floor above them" shawn told me

shawn and i got out the taxi cab and went inside the hotel

once we reached our hotel room, i put my luggage down and plopped onto one of the beds.

"you need to get ready. i set up a reservation at 8" shawn told me and then headed out the door

"where do you think your going?!" i yelled at shawn before he could open the door

"i'm changing in one of the guy's restroom. i wanna make a dazzling entrance when i pick you up. oh and, put on a dress. not a really fancy dress. but a comfortable dress. if that made sense" shawn said and then added a chuckle to the end

"okay. bye shawn" i chuckled and pushed him out the door so i could get ready

i went to my luggage and took out a strapless, yellow, floral dress.

i applied some makeup, amd put my hair into a nice bun.

i walked out the bathroom to wait for shawn. i took a glance to the clock. 8:00 he should be here

a few seconds later, i heard a knock and i quickly opened it.

there stood shawn. he had a white shirt and some khacki shorts. simple, but cute

"like what you see?" shawn asked me and wiggled his brows

"hah. you wish mendes" i told him an laughed

"this is for you. a beautiful rose, for a beautiful lady" shawn said while handing me a really pretty rose

cliché but cute.

i put on my sandals and interwined me and shawn's fingers.

i hope today will be the best date..
