"What happened? Why would he do that to you?" Justin stepped forward.

"It was a long time ago, matey. I've been in Pirate's Cove for so many years. All alone."

"Do you miss seeing the kids?"

"Everyday. I peek out of the curtain and see them watching Freddy with glee. I miss the lads."

"Why don't you go back?"

"I messed up bad. They wouldn't let me back even if I asked." He muttered miserably.

"Why are you helping me?" Justin gulped.

"I hate Freddy. What he does is evil and wrong. I want to prove I'm not a monster. Unlike them."

"What's it like being alone in the Cove?" Justin whispered, sitting in his chair.

Foxy sighed. "Cramped. Lonely. Sad. But there was one kid. He was different. He didn't care that I was rusted and broken. He cared. He loved me. He dropped by after school everyday just to see me. He even tried to be just like me. I loved him."

"Who was he?" Justin asked, intrigued.

He couldn't believe he was actually talking to this thing.

Foxy looked at him and smiled warmly. "You. It was you, Justin."
