•Chapter 14: Fairly Local•

I immediately drop the flower, turn around and make my way back to the dorms.

And just like that, most of my hopes were crushed.

I made it back to my room, locking the door and flopping down immediately on the bed, just staring up and the nothingness of the ceiling.

It almost didn't feel fair but I keep trying to convince myself not to feel sad because it almost sounds selfish how I want a bit of attention for once.

I just needed to scream. I turned my head towards the pillow and screamed into it but it didn't muffle my screams all too much. In the midst of it, I heard a knocking at the door. Regaining my composer, I hesitantly opened it.

I was expecting either Josh or Y/N to be on the other side but to my surprise it was Bishop Andre.

"Good evening to you Number 1021. I came here to deliver something for you." He handed me a box wrapped tightly in red, white and black paper.

I look at it curiously, "What is it exactly?"

Andre shook his head. "You can find out for yourself if you open it."

I looked down, "Am I the only one receiving one of these?" I asked

Andre once again shook his head, "It's what I would call, a gift that is being handed out to everyone. Your dear friends Number 1020 and 1824 should be receiving or has already received theirs as well."

I begin to get a bit concerned as to what it might be.

"Why exactly are you bringing this to me and not Nico?" I question.

"Well firstly I am in charge of all these boxes and Bishop Nico has been busy with other errands." Andre replied. I just look down again.

"With that, I will take my leave, I am a little busy today as well." Andre turns around to leave. "And oh, Number 1021." I look up

Don't be so disappointed when you read it

And with that, Andre left the room, leaving me utterly scared as to what might lie in this box. The coloring somehow reminded me of something but I brush it off and carefully remove the wrapping paper.

Once off, I open the folds of the box to see there is a note that's tied with a red string. I take the note and slowly pull the string off, trying to buy some time for me until I open it.

The string came off and it just came down to rolling up the letter. I took a deep breath and rolled it open.

I expected it to be bad but oh god

This was far worse than that

The note read in detail of every single insecurity I ever had. But that wasn't the worse part. The bad part of it all was the very top one which gave me a whole run down of what my biggest fear is. I started to tear up as I read it in full detail:

"You always hope for dreams that never come true. Your dream is to be loved. However I guess that dream can never come true. You fabricated false hope into something you already knew you couldn't have. Truth is that you are afraid of being alone. You are afraid that you will never be loved. And reality is, both are too true. You can already tell by the relationship between Y/N and Josh. They don't really care about you do they? They probably love eachother don't they? You can always give them your love but you will never get any in return because you aren't deserving of it. You aren't worth of anything and you never will be. And it almost seems like you can neither keep love for Y/N or Josh because well maybe the sad truth is...

They are in love with each other."

I'm sooooo happy to finally be back to making more chapters for this fanfic!

I have a lot to talk about, first: TRENCH IS ALREADY ONE YEAR OLD WTF! Second: JENNA IS PREGNANT LIKE HOLY HECK, TYLER IS GONNA BE A FATHER IM SHOOK, and thirdly: THIS FANFIC IS 1 YEAR OLD REEEE! Happy one month late anniversary!
