•Chapter 13: Ride•

"It's good to see you too Toge, I haven't been that well...mind if I talk to you?" I ask hesitantly.

"Yes of course! Come sit down Tyler, i'll go grab a few books for you to pick and check out later. I'll also bring some things to help you feel better, give me a few minutes please." Metoge excused herself, walking to a shelf and quickly scanning through the countless amounts of books.

She disappeared behind another shelf and a couple of minutes later came back with a stack of books and a variety of snacks and drinks I haven't seen here ever.

"How did you even get these?? Coke and Sprite? Fanta and-!" I gasp. "Red Bull!?"

She chuckles, "I know how much you adore Red Bull! As for how I got these, that's a secret that shouldn't be said. Don't want those Bishops finding out now do we?"

I nod back at her as she sets everything down. Ready to listen to what I have to say.

Y/N's POV:

Tyler stormed off in a hurry. Me and Josh stand up to go after him but right when we exit the building, he is no where in sight.

We look in the usual spots we would find him to no avail. Both Josh and I decide to just sit down at our usual bench to calm ourselves. We stay silent most of the time, all being heard is the sound of our heavy breathing from running around everywhere.

"Hey Y/N." Josh breathed out.

"Yes Josh?" I reply.

"Can I...talk to you about something?" He asks

I nod, "Of course you can Josh, Tyler isn't the only one I worry about you know. You're mental state is important also."

This makes Josh give a small smile, probably feeling relieved. "Well I don't like talking about my problems a lot but I've been worrying a lot recently."

I look at him with clear focus on his every word

"I've been worrying about what will come of us here in DEMA. I know we probably won't ever be able to escape or leave. I really just want an easier and better life than in here. It's weird cause with that, it starts having me worry about everyone else and what they think of me. In all honesty, I think about the end, both to my life and to this world a lot. Both are in a positive and negative light. Sometimes it's fun to fantasize but then it all brings more unhealthy thoughts and it's an upward spiral into this constant cycle of depression and negativity. I desperately want it to end but I can't to anything about it." Josh rants, placing details to describe every matter he is dealing with.

I look at him with a frown, "Josh, I'm sorry I never knew. Now that I do, I'll be here to comfort you okay?"

Before Josh can speak, a voice was heard behind us

"Number 1020 and Number 1824, fancy seeing you two here." We turn around to the source of the voice to see it is Bishop Listo. I looked over to Josh who I thought would greet Listo in a casual matter but to my surprise, I see him looking at him with an almost shocked and scared expression.

"Listo..it's interesting to see you here at this hour." Josh replied with a shaky voice.

Listo looked at Josh sternly, "I'm just fulfilling some orders Bishop Nico has assigned to me. Also, address me properly Number 1020."

Josh looked down anxiously. "Do you need something from me?" He asked, still looking down

"Not anytime soon but I do have something I must give you." Listo responded, handing Josh a box wrapped tightly in black, red and white paper. "I must take my leave now, Number 1824 you might receive a box later too so be prepared for it." With that, Listo walked away.

Josh looked at the box, curious as to what it was, I admit I was curious too but I started to worry about whether it was something personal or not. If it's coming from the Bishops, it most likely is.

I turn around before Josh can ask me to. I can hear paper being torn behind me and the box being shuffled about.

There was then a few moments of silence

Then a gasp

Then faint silent sobbing

AND THAT MY FRIENDS WAS CHAPTER 13! I'm sorry that I promised one soon then had it come out a month later lol

That was as well Bishop Listo's arc, having a bit of drama occur. I'm that type of author ;)
