Both me and Josh say back down on the bench, Tyler staying standing up. He gives out a large exhale before starting. "I'll start with this, Nico has been coming to me a lot lately."
I immediately jump up, remembering the promise me and Tyler made together a couple of days ago. "Why didn't you come to us? Remember that I was gonna help you with Nico?"
Tyler looks down, "I expected you to react that way. Trust me I would have gone to you but everytime I tried, something would always stop me."
Josh then joined in, "Blurryface?" Tyler nodded.
"I-I've been stressed recently because of it. I started thinking of just a variety of different things. Like our careers outside DEMA and how we would have to uphold that responsibility."
"Are you talking about the pressure of fame?" I asked.
Tyler shakes his head. "Not entirely, it's a part of it but I think it's mostly just how I'd like things to be easier and normal again."
"So kinda like wanting things to be like your younger days where you didn't have to worry so much?" Josh questioned.
Tyler nodded. "Exactly. Those were the good ol' days. That's when our mother's sang us to sleep and we had no worries. But I guess we can't turn back time so now we're all just stressed out."
The way Tyler worded his sentence reminded me of a song I heard. I can't recall what it was. Damn it! Why did I forget almost everything of my past? Can't even remember a simple song.
"So, you are worried about life outside of DEMA?" I wondered.
Tyler looked down again, "For the most part yes, but I'm as well worried about well.." He paused.
I lightly tug on his sleeve so he can look over at me. "You're free to share it, I promise we won't judge."
Tyler sighed in defeat and then continued. "The two of you have better chemistry together. I-I feel left out I guess. I know I don't talk a lot but I often find myself feeling like I don't belong."
"Ah Ty I'm sorry we made you think that, believe me we see you as a great friend. Hell, Y/N can tell you herself how quiet it was without you here the past couple of days." Josh reassured, turning to me after he finished.
"It's true, it wasn't the same without you." I confessed.
Tyler grew a slight smile to his face, I was glad to see it. He doesn't smile often but I really love to see him smile like that.
"Thank you guys. I really don't know what I would've done without you two." Tyler admitted.
We both smiled back at him warmly.
Tyler's POV:
We stood together continuously talking till it started to get dark. We all took our leave as we had to do separate things before we slept. I myself needed to get pure alcohol from the infirmary.
The cuts have healed up and have left scars by now but there was still dried blood all around my arm so I had to clean it up.
When I got there, I undid the bandages and grabbed a cotton ball and poured some of the alcohol on it. I continued to clean myself up until I was done. I placed everything back where it was supposed to be and started collecting my things. I next needed to get one of my shirts sewed as a hole has formed.
As I was about to leave the infirmary I run into someone I really didn't want to see. Nico
"Ah Number 1021 how are you today?"
