CHAPTER TEN - CARTOON MASKS

Start from the beginning

lilith, i can share with you my powers. i have so much i want to share

"i'm going to ignore the out of context creepiness and ask you, what powers?" she asks, placing a hand on her hip

i have a lot. like the ability to find someone's worst fears, a few enchantations, witch stuff

lilith scoffs "what is this? buffy the vampire slayer? sabrina the teenage witch? those just sound stupid!" she exclaims, shoving a few things off her vanity table at the process

the ability to communicate with the dead

she froze on her tracks and turns around. the ability to talk to the dead, to talk to ben. she smiles a little at the thought, she'd very much love to see him again and finally tell him something she'd never been able to bring herself to say

she could finally tell him that she loved him

intrigued?

lilith's thought was cut off by the devil once again. "what's the catch?" she asks, lilith's been in many business negotiations to know what she was getting into

simple and easy. embrace yourself as who you really are

"and that is?"

me

she thought about it for a while. only now did she really stop and compare herself to the devil, they had barely if not nothing in common. but she couldn't help but think that they were just the same

"i-" she stops immediately at the sun of gunshots in the academy. she quickly bolts out of her room and transforms into the devil

it has been a while since she's last done it, but she didn't need practice since it just came to her naturally. she staggered a little, because transforming into the devil hurt a lot, the best way to describe it being that it felt like her skin was being pulled inside out

it was a quick but painful shock wave that surged through her body, but it was how she knew she had become the devil

her brown eyes had changed into blood red, horns protruded from her blonde hair, a tail had placed itself at the end of her tailbone, and of course it wouldn't have been complete without a sharp set of fangs

lilith licked her lips as she continued to listen out to where the gunshots were coming from

it's good to be back

she ignores that comment as she the gunshots start getting louder. she stops near the corridor that led to luther and allison's bedrooms and sure enough she was greeted with some weird shit

two people wearing creepy cartoon masks were holding there guns and had them readied at diego

she watches as diego confronts the bigger one and proceeds to try and knock him out with his head while the other one aims their gun at diego

lilith didn't hesitate to bolt over to them and tackle the bigger one

"what the?!" he grunts, trying to push lilith off him "get out of the way dumbass!" the smaller one yells, continuing to shoot at diego and lilith
