CHAPTER FIVE - PLAN B PART II

five had a plan and lilith wasn't exactly all for it

"alright, let's see if i can get this story right; i'm your mom, klaus is your dad, you're our son and klaus and i are married..." as lilith says it out loud she realizes how ridiculous five's plan was

five takes a deep breath "just deal with it for now, lilith. besides if things go wrong just write them a check or something" five says as he and his "parents" walk with him going to the meritech building five had them go to

"and if that goes wrong?" she asks, taking off her sunglasses and tucking them into the pocket of her coat

"show him your bra, men are afraid of bras" klaus suggests as he lights himself another joint

lilith rolls her eyes while five gives klaus a strange look "it is scientifically impossible for men to have a phobia for women's underwear"

klaus wraps his arm around five, making him more annoyed than he already was "you've been gone for a while now, son. things have changed"

lilith pushes klaus away from five and wraps him around her arms, giving him a tight hug "get off my son, i don't want him smelling like weed"

klaus suddenly sandwiches his "family" in a hug "family hug!" he yells, lilith squeals but doesn't push him away "oh great, now my new coat smells like weed" she pouts

"we're all gonna die" five mutters under his breath as they all get on the elevator

"like I said to your son earlier, any information about the prosthetics we build is strictly confidential" the doctor says, sitting across from five and klaus while lilith decided to inwardly curse the office for being so plain, it was nothing like hers

"without the client's consent, I simply can't help you," lilith leans on the hand of klaus' chair to check on her pink acrylic nails, pretty much bored from the conversation

at this five stood up from his seat "well, we can't get consent if you don't give us a name,"

"nothing more you can do" mr big shrugs

for a moment lilith briefly sees five lose all hope, and hope was something lilith knew should not be taken for granted. so she places a hand on five's shoulder before pulling out a pink checkbook

she grabs a pen from mr big's desk and clicks it "how much do you want?"

"w-what?"

"you heard me, a thousand? a million? billion? trillion?" she asks nonchalantly and heard klaus breathe out shakily and sees mr big's eyes widen before her

"ma'am i'm sorry b-but bribery can't get you into these records" he stutters, continuing to eye her checkbook sadly as she places back in her bag

lilith sighs and goes to sit next to klaus, disappointed that she couldn't help. this moment was the source of all her chagrin at the moment

but then, klaus begins to eye lilith. she meets his gaze and gives him a confused look, but klaus turns away to look at mr big
