Today was an assembly in my school and I was the only one who clapped (besides my best friend) for everyone that got an award or student of the month.
A teacher came up behind me and it startled me but she smiled and leaned in towards my ear, "I just wanted to say you just make my day. Because you're always so positive." And she walked away.
My best friend beside me looked at me as we both grinned to each other.
"If only she knew you weren't."
