And when I was trying to make my friend feel better about her weight I said, "Dude, look at how fat I am, so don't feel ashamed about yourself." She said I wasn't fat but trust me, I am.
And when my other friend came up behind me, the friend I was just talking to turned to the other friend and said, "Does she look fat? She said she was fat and she's not!"
But my friend studied me and shook her head, "Noo, she's fat alright."
Hearing that, my stomach dropped and I think my heart stopped beating for a millisecond. Did she know how painful that was to me? Did she know that I cried at home and almost committed suicide because what she said added onto everything I already had packed inside.
But it took everything in me to smile and say, "See? I'm fat, but don't worry about my weight, your gorgeous."
