We Met in Gym (Royce-Short Story)

Yesterday evening I had a little thinking to do. I was unsure of everything until I texted Jacob . This is how it went :

I was lying across my bed surfing channels on the TV. There was nothing good on so I tossed the remote to the left . I lie on my right side thumbing over my phone with my eyes closed, thinking.

Why wasn't I more clear?

Did he understand but just do that on purpose?

Was I too soon?

Did I make him nervous?Does he even like me?

These were all questions I asked myself. I opened my eyes seeing that I had somehow unlocked my phone. It was on Jacob's contact that I'd added in earlier as ' Jakey♥'.

I thought this coincidence was totally weird , but I got an idea. I decided to go ahead and text him .

I pulled up the text message section and started typing.

« Me : Hey Jake. It's Chresanto

A few seconds later , he texted back .

» Jakey♥:  Heyy , I've been waiting for you to text me ! Wassup ?

He's been waiting? I chuckled at that & smiled. He was even cute through text.

«Me : ohh, if I would've known , I would've texted you a long time ago . Lol & nothin really, just layin here thinking
