So I am not sure about you but I have seen many posts on social media about how hard it is to grow curly hair and how slow it grows. It came to the point where I thought that curly hair in general just takes too long to grow. Wrong. That is very wrong. Not everyone's hair grows at the same rate. Not all curly hair takes decades and centuries just to grow an inch. I basically discovered that this was false when my cousin (who has 3b hair) grew her hair out really really fast, like she grew quite a few inches during the course of the summer. So I am telling you now, regardless if you already knew this or not, not all curly hair takes a long time to grow. And if you feel like your hair isn't growing: it could always be that due to shrinkage you can't tell how long its grown. If this isn't the case and you really don't see any difference in hair length over a very long period of time: you gotta check your routine because something isn't being done right. I think it's more important to worry about the health of your hair before the length of it. Plus who says short hair can't look amazing as long hair does?
