So you have this story you wrote and now you want to share it, but where do you put it? That was my dilemma when I first wrote Brothers Blood. When I was in high school, I didn't have a site like Wattpad, FictionPress, Radish, etc. so for me it was easy to bury my work and hide it forever. Since I had never completed a novel this wasn't a big deal for me. But when I finished Brothers Blood, a 200K unedited novel, I was so proud. I had to share it.
Enter Wattpad (well for me at the time it was FictionPress, but let's stick with Wattpad because, duh, that's where we are)
There are two ways to create a book. One is obvious, the create button on the top menu bar. The other is the little gear on your profile. Click on either one of those and it'll take you into the my works page.
My works is where the magic happens! You'll see all the stories you have both published and unpublished. You can rearrange the order the stories show on your profile by dragging the three gray lines up and down. You can see your stats for the book (which I'll go into that in another chapter) and you can share the book, continue writing, all those good things. For now I'm just going to focus on uploading a new story. Click on new story to create a *gasp* new story.
Oooh look at the shiny newness!
