The Mark of Three (Previously 'Marked by Three')

Chapter 23

Suddenly I had an idea, if I could control the elements, that means I can control water and there was water in my hair or on my hair... so that means I could control the water out of my hair. So I did just that and it worked, seconds later my hair was completely dry falling down my shoulders in slight waves down my back. Taking one last look in the mirror I decided that make-up wouldn't make a difference because my eyes already stand out, my skin almost glows and my lips don't need colouring because their already flush red.

Walking to the door just as Anner knocked I opened it to see she was ready to go "So why are we going shopping?"

"Well to start off with you need your own clothes since your always wearing mine or the girls or Blanes stuff that doesn't even fit and second you need something to wear for tonight".

"Oh, ok".

Getting out of Anners proudly owned Audi R8 we walked together to the mall entrance that was surrounded by humans, something I left behind for good. As we walked through the crowd, people stopped and stared at us, well mainly me. I saw in the eyes of the female's jealousy and in the males the look of want but they all had their heads slightly bowed down and avoiding any eye contact with me and as we walked through the crowd, all the humans moved out of our way making us a path to where ever we went to.

If I were still human I know I wouldn't be able to walk any longer because my feet would have been close to dead, that's how much walking we did, one shop to the next for hours nonstop and we didn't just do it once, we're like on round six of the whole mall and the mall was humongous.

Sitting down I knew Anners feet hurt but mine weren't. We both had loads of bags of clothes, shoes, make-up, more clothes and Anner forced me to buy lingerie despite my argumentation about it but the only thing we didn't yet have was an outfit for my 'surprise' date tonight.

"Ok there's no shop here that has the perfect outfit for you so we're going to a small custom design dress shop down the road. We can go there and see what we can get there". She said getting up and walking with me by her side while the humans cleared a path as we walked by.

Just managing to fit all the bags into Anners car I was hoping that Blanes wardrobe was bigger enough to fit my clothes as well as his because the majority of the stuff brought today was for me. "Anner, who's money payed for my stuff today?" I asked wondering whose money we spent today because we spent a fortune and there'd probably be a dent in whoevers account the money came from.

"Oh it was Blanes money, this morning before he left he gave me a one of his credit cards and said that I get whatever you wanted with it" my eyes went wide, that was Blanes money we spent, where does the money come from, answering my question probably reading my expression she said chuckling "relax, he won't care ok, Violet he loves you, I've seen it the way he looks at you and whenever you're not with him which is rare he won't shut up about you. And the money we spent today is nothing to what Blane owns, he wouldn't even notice the difference".

"Where does all the money come from?" I asked wanting to know more about him.

"Oh he owns several large companies and he's like the richest guy in the country" with that my eyes went so wide it almost hurt almost if I were human. The guy that loves me is one of the richest guys on the country, wow. "And when you marry him your name will go in the in the companies with him making you the richest woman in the country" she smirked.

After a couple minutes of silence I decided to ask "So with this design dress shop, if we get a dress designed then won't it take longer than today to get?"

"Nope, because the owner is a werewolf and since you're the Alphas mate well soul mate and because of who or what you are she'll drop ever thing and do yours straight away and she was pretty close to Blanes mother before she died".

"Oh" was all I said for the rest of the drive to the shop.

Pulling up outside the small dress shop Anner and I walked in to be greeted by a lady around to be in her early forties smiled at us. "Well hello Anner and..."she said looking at me.

"Hello Mrs. Yenkens, this is Violet... Blanes soul mate". Hearing that her eyes went wide and she bowed.

"My Luna" she said looking up at me and smiling but then it slightly disappeared and she looked at Anner "wait you just said soul mate, there thought to be legends their so rare that their thought to be fake since no one alive today has seen any".

"Yes well their soul mates, see her eyes Blane now has the same since they marked each other and that isn't the only legend she is, take a good close sniff at her and tell me what you smell".

Mrs Yenkens sniffed the air in my direction and her eyes slightly widened and turned a shade darker. "Werewolf and vampire" she growled the last part.

"Yes and what legend has the scent of wolf and vampire" asked Anner.

After a while of silence from Mrs Yenkens eyes widened and whispered "She can't be".

"Oh yes she is, a full century early just to be with her soul mate, Blane".

"So the legend is real, and you're 'The Chosen One'". She said looking at me and bowing again but on the knees this time. Standing up Anner asked,

"Her and Blanes mark is the same, they both hold the wolf kingdom symbol that's the exact same and they both hold the vampire kingdom that's the same and then there's the middle symbol that has everyone confused, hers is slightly bigger then Blanes though..." Anner said trailing of.

"May I see your mark?" she asked and I nodded tilting my head to the side so she could see. Hearing her gasp I brought my head bake to normal and looked at her.

"What is it"? I asked.

"It can't be, that kingdom was wiped out years ago..." she said to herself.

"What kingdom?" I asked.

Shaking her head she said "Nothing, forget about it" raising my eyebrow at her I decided to drop the subject.

Breaking the silence Anner cleared her throat and said making me blush slightly on the last part, "Ok, so Violet here needs a dress for tonight for a romantic date with Blane".

After half an hour we agreed on a design that Mrs Yenkens was going to make for me. "Ok I'll start making the dress now and it should be ready to pick up in a couple of hours".

Nodding Anner said "well in that time Violet and I are going to get something to eat and then we can come pick it up".

After two and a half hours Anner and I have already had lunch while the rest of the time we spent talking about random stuff, deciding that the dress should be ready by now we made our way back to the dress shop and paid for it and left back to home. Reaching home we decided to leave all the bags in the car and get them tomorrow while we raced inside with my dress in hand up to Anners room where she started to get me ready for my date later on with Blane that I was already craving to be with again.
