People are oblivious, their minds are blank as the screen of the tv I had as a child. With a broken VCR and no cable till I was five, I was forced to go outside. A breath of fresh air I suppose. To get away from the arguing between my father and stepmother I can never escape. They don't even know they're doing it either. Not because they're dumb but because nowadays arguing is how they communicate. Relationships don't tend to work when you're both still caught in your past. Especially when instead of turning to your significant other you turn to numbing. My father can't stand the feeling of being abandoned but all of his life everyone has left, and he just can't seem to make the connection. This is because to him nothing is ever his fault. He is always the victim.
