i've seen captain marvel today and it was, indeed, marvelous. spoiler alert!

carol danvers owns my entire heart :-( not only is she an powerful, inspiring female character, but her personality is so endearing as well. she's funny, doesn't take herself too seriously, has made mistakes, is lost, and her strength is so admirable. i'm so happy that young girls can now relate to such a strong and modern female character

carol, truly, is a strong woman. the scene where she gets after all the times she's fallen down deeply moved and inspired me. no matter what, no matter the mistakes you make or the hardships you face, you can always stand back up and tell yourself i can do it; that is what carol teaches us throughout the movie. she's so brave and determined, showing us that anyone can pursue their goals if they work hard enough!

and let's not forget that she was a pilot from the us air force, i've got a thing for pilots. maria and her showed all those guys that women can be just as badass as men which is insanely cool. and they're otp — carol and maria's bond is so beautiful, even after all those years. monica, maria and carol would make such a soft family<3

also carol's little smiles during the movie?? her complicity with nick fury?? big uwu. i really don't get all the hate towards brie and this character, she's lovely and i'm so proud of her, she deserves all the recognition she's getting. brie larson was perfect for this role, i'm very excited to see some more of her in the mcu!
