Isabella jumped as her older brother Giovanni's hand covered hers and squeezed. She turned from her notes to stare at him in surprise.

"Do you feel it?" He asked in a hushed tone, his jade green eyes looking shocked.

"What?"

"That group that just entered. They have power rolling off of them. And they smell different." He shot a glance at them, then looked away, seeming to shrink in on himself.

She leaned forward. Pushing a chunk of brown hair back behind her ear as she did so. Four tall, gorgeous men and one tall, stunning woman stood at the counter giving their orders. "Do you think they're like you?"

His light eyes widened.

"Go talk to them."

He paled."I can't." He whispered looking down the table.

Bell cocked her head and stared at him for a moment, before nodding in understanding. "I'll go talk to them then, shall I?"

"What? No!"

She sighed. "Gino, If there are more out there like you, we need to know about it. They might be able to help! We won't have to figure it out all on our own! Doesn't that sound wonderful?"

"And how are you going to approach the subject?"

Bell furrowed her brows in thought, before she gave a triumphant smile. "I'll pretend to do a survey. About mythical creatures. You know, like you use to do to me. Do you believe in vampires? Do you believe in fairies? Do you believe in werewolves? See if I can come at the conversation sideways."

He shook his head, "I don't think that's gonna work."

She shrugged back at him. "Well we've got to try something. We can't let this opportunity pass us. Please."

"Fine." He rand his hand through his dark brown hair.

She gave a huge smile and flipping her notebook to a new page. And began writing furiously. After a minute she stood up, closed her eyes, breathed deep, and looked at her brother, "can you make it any smaller?" she asked still feeling the slight menacing aura he'd given off ever since he was fourteen.

He shook his head grimly, "my power is the smallest I can get it."

"Then it's still getting stronger. See? We need to talk to them. Okay. I'll signal you if you can come over and if I leave meet me at the car."

"I don't like this."

She didn't answer. Making a wide circle around the cafe, talking to people randomly about mythical creatures, she made her way to the group that finished ordering and were now seated.

Stopping at the head to the table she watched a distinguished, powerful looking blonde man turn to look at her with eyes the same green as her brother, she blinked startled.

He cocked his head and raised a brow. Giving herself a tiny shake she put on a 'hi can I talk to you for a minute' smile and holding her notepad began to speak. "I'm sorry. Hi. I'm doing a survey and I was wondering if you could all give me a minute of your time to answer some questions about mythical creatures."

He blinked and again she couldn't get over how much his eyes look like Gino's. Light clear jade with a darker green outer edge. She pulled herself back to the matter at hand "It should be really quick. I'll name a creature, for example a fairy. And you'll say yes or no. Yes: it's real. No: it's not. We'll only go into more depth if you think it might be real. Please. It won't take up much of your time and would mean the world to me. I mean there are five of you. Please." She widened her brown eyes, put a tiny bit of sadness to how she held her mouth and eyebrows, and tilted her head just slightly.
