"Well hello there old friend"

I took out all of the components and started to set it up on the desk. About fifteen minutes later, the whole system was ready to go and all that was left was to plug in the PC. I plugged it in and clicked the power button and let it boot up. In the meantime, I went over to another box and opened it up to reveal the pieces for building a computer chair. I started to work on that while the computer was going through an update since it had not been turned on for over two years.

Once I had finished with the chair, the computer was all set to be used. I sat down in the chair and rolled over to one final box and opened it. Inside of it were some of the belongings that I had brought with me from America and took out one thing from the box, my old nervegear. I rolled back over to the computer with the nervegear. I placed the nervegear on top of my desk and used a USB cable to plug it into the PC. I slowly started to transfer all of the data from the USB and into the PC.

After seeing that the transfer was going to take over two hours, I went downstairs and decided to eat breakfast. When I went into the kitchen, I saw Alice, Eugeo, and Suguha all sitting at the table eating cereal. I then looked over at the time and read '10:26'.

"Look who's up," Eugeo said when he saw me entering the kitchen

"I've been up for a while now, was just setting up room"

"Understandable"

I sat down at the table and poured cereal into a bowl. I then went over to a cupboard and took out a glass. I sat back down at the table and poured some milk into the glass. Alice gave me a weird look.

"Why not just pour the milk into the bowl along with the cereal?"

"I don't like my milk in my bowl, it makes the cereal soggy. I don't like to eat soggy food"

Alice just continued to look at me eat my cereal before she just shrugged it off. The four of us continued to eat our cereal in silence. Once all four of us were finished our cereal, Eugeo spoke.

"So what are our plans for today besides going to the cafe at six"

"We could all set up our rooms today and then rest up since we are all tired from yesterday" Alice suggested

"That sounds fine to me, we can also order pizza for lunchtime" Suguha replied and we all nodded

"Well, I already got my furniture set up. The only thing I have left to do is put away my clothes but I also have to finish a personal project." I said while going to pour myself in another bowl of cereal

"And might you tell us what that project is?" Eugeo replied with a curious face

"You will find out soon," I said while scarfing down my second bowl of cereal

After I finished my cereal, I walked back upstairs and entered my room. I looked over to my clock, only an hour had passed. I went over to the boxes and suitcases with my clothes and started to unpack them and hang them up in the closet. Once I finished with that, there were still more than forty-five minutes left.

I went over to my computer and searched over articles based around my gamer tag, Kirito. Luckily, many of the media outlets had dropped the story and stopped searching for me. I continued to scroll until one article caught my eye. The heading of the article read "Is the defeater of SAO linked to the technological Prodigy known as 'Alpha'". My eyes were wide open and my jaw dropped. This was one thing I had hoped would never have been found out. My biggest secret.

Ever since I had found out about the truth behind my parents, I decided that I would try my hardest to live independently from them as much as possible. My reasoning wasn't due to my anger towards them for keeping the secret, but rather the reason was that I didn't wish to make their lives more difficult, especially since they also had to take care of Suguha.
