A few days passed and Hope was certain that Tony will never make it easy.

The insults weren't getting worse, it was just the same and so were her comebacks. Everyday she spent nothing but hurting his feelings, but in her defense, so did he. She may have said that she could be that cheerful caretaker for a pessimistic disabled but, she should have thought better to be honest.

❝ Where are the others? ❞ She asked, sometimes Tony would have enough kindness to answer her questions. To be fair, he answered them all— but his old asshole self will come back just a few moments after.  ❝ Mission, Columbia. . I think. ❞

Hope nodded, but as she was about to ask another question, the doors of the elevator from behind them opened. Catching the two's attention as Ophelia stepped out,  ❝ Huh, you haven't killed each other yet? ❞

❝ Surprisingly, ❞ Tony retorted, earning Hope's huff as she rolled her eyes. Making her way to the only person who bothered to text her from time to time as well, bonding through their conversations. Hope then helped Ophelia carry what she brought,  ❝ I'm still planning on it. What is this? ❞

Ophelia smiled,  ❝ Crutches, it's been a month since Tony spent his life sitting on a wheel chair. Back when you weren't yet here by the way– He, at least, need to upgrade and exercise with crutches for now. ❞

Hope nodded but when she glanced at said man, she sighed out seeing his expression. He doesn't like it,  ❝ I'm not using that. ❞

❝ Look Tony, this can help speed the process of you recovering a bit. Exercising can help and even you know that, if you want to get rid of me so badly then use this. It won't be long until you'll get rid of it as well when you're fully recovered. ❞

And with that, he tried it on.
