(This is an audio from Tick Tock that kinda, really went well with my theory for why Peso doesn't have a father. I did make it Spanish, so it would fit his character and my side-theory about what language penguins spoke when Peso was a chick. Enjoy!)
A young penguin chick, a year and 3 months old, waddles to the edge of the water. He looks up at the bright sky above his home.
"Ha pasado un año papi..(It's been a year, Daddy..)" He starts. He glances down at his joined flippers.
"Realmente te extraño..(I really, really miss you..)" he looks back at his igloo for a moment.
"Mami dice que estas a salvo, ahora.(Mommy says you're safe now.)" He closes his eyes. "En un lugar hermoso, llamado 'El cielo...'(In a beautiful place, called 'Heaven...')"
He feels a warmth around him, as if being hugged. But no one was there with him.
Or were there?
