I couldn't believe Keon's baby mother had actually texted my sister. I mean, it was just a harmless picture of children playing. I couldn't understand why she was so upset, but I wasn't in her position so I had no idea what she might've been thinking.
"Yeah, me either. She's brave brave. Do you think her and Keon might be still seeing each other?"
I took a long sip of my pink lemonade. I certainly hoped they weren't. Especially not after what had happened the night before. "Girl, no. Keon said they haven't been together romantically in a long time. Maybe she's just not used to him dating."
"I don't give a fuck what shorty used to she better not come in DM anymore on no hot shit unless she tryna see me."
I rolled my eyes at Javi's eagerness to fight and pulled my phone out scrolling through text messages.
Keon💏- Wassup babygirl. Just landed. Call or text when ya get done at the spa shit.
I smiled really big, quickly texting him back.
Me: hey boo. okay that's good, I was a ball of nerves. I will CALL when I get back to your place. Get rest & kiss Ki for me. 😘
I looked up to see them both staring at me, goofy smiles on their face. Tiana started off first. "Damn, damn, damn. Never thought I'd see the day. You feeling somebody else besides Lucas ass."
"I know right! Over there cheesing and shit. I'm glad you're over that fucking bum. Keon is a real man."
I snapped my fingers, showing off. "Yes, yes he is. Trust me he is all man. Speaking of men, what's up with you and James? Are you seeing anybody?"
"Girllllll, I told James to get the fuck out my house. As far as me seeing somebody, I been kinda texting that rapper back. Herbert."
Tiana's eyes bugged out at her. "Um, bitch! Do you mean Gherbo? As in fine ass, young ass, rich ass nigga from Chicago?"
My sister nodded her head yes, smiling hard. I could say I was impressed. My sister had pulled a big fish.
"Yes ma'am."
"Ugh y'all bitches are so lucky to have young dick."
Me and Javi burst out laughing, holding on to each other. I was laughing so hard, tears threatened to spill out my eyes.
"What y'all bitches laughing for? I'm being deadass. Old dick is boring. You'll see in a few years, Jeannie."
