Few month passed since those events and now it's almost time for my sixth birthday. Usually when nobles turn six a huge party is being held which can be considered as their debut in social circle. At this party they show off their skills in dancing, singing, drawing, etiquette and so on. At first I tried avoiding it as it was too troublesome and I'm also not a huge fan of such gatherings, but persuading my parents proved to be much more difficult than I expected. They said that sixth birthday is a very important stage in noble's life and skipping it will make our household lose prestige. Which is why I didn't have any other choice but to comply and start getting ready for it and as I have already agreed, I need to give my all with preparations.

My dancing skills already advanced to lv.2 while etiquette is also at lv.2, which is honestly quite good of a result for such little time. I will also need to demonstrate my martial art skills since it is deemed preferable for nobles to show off their fighting capabilities. Naturally, it's by no way obligatory to show swordsmanship, every other weapon or fighting style is also welcome. Although as one could guess it would be funny to expect a lot from six year old kids, which is why mostly these ceremonies don't hold any display of fighting powers, which will make my ceremony even more unique in everyone's eyes.

In the three years I have been training I was able to raise all my combat skills to lv.2 but the higher the level gets, the harder it is to increase it further so I've been stuck there for quite a while now. My instructor claims that my swordplay is already amazing enough, especially for my age and I just need some experience to break through this bottleneck.  sadly it is not possible for me to go and fight monsters anytime soon as I am still awfully young and the risk and danger far outweighs the gains, well in my parents' eyes anyways.

These few months aside from preparing for the party I've been spending the most of my time with Noah and Rose. Noah got a lot more livelier lately, although he's still a bit timid and shy. The death of his parents seemed to have affected him deeply but we were able to get him out of his bubble bit by bit, which was a lot easier than expected since he is still a child. I've been paying attention so that he ate well so his complexion has gotten much better and he isn't as skinny anymore, through he's still pretty small for his age.

Naturally that's not much of a problem. Rose on the other hand really likes being an older sister and often tries to imitate me or mom by telling Noah to eat more or helping him with something. Just a while age I saw her teaching basics of etiquette to Noah even though he will be starting those lessons soon as well.  I'm very happy with that as she is learning how to be  more responsible and how to take care of others while Noah is having affection he needs and deserves. The time I spend with these two actually doesn't amount to much, there are days when I am not able to see them at all, but somehow they still seem to be very attached to me. It's not like I'm complaining though.

Actually after a week since I made Noah come out of the room, something interesting happened.

(flashback)

That day I was helping Noah change since he was still too weak to do it himself and wouldn't let the maids do it. while doing so I noticed some black marks, that definitely weren't there before, appearing on Noah's wrist. I felt  quite worried as those marks were releasing some kind of ominous energy so I immediately went to inform father about the matter. Father checked the himself and then went to his study right after with a serious expression. After reassuring Noah that it was nothing serious and sending him to play with Rose, I followed right after Richard.

"father what is it? is it something serious?"

I asked as calmly as I possibly could. Father simply sighed and answered
