The next few days were quite busy for Louis, most of the day he was helping his father with the research, it wasn't like he could do much but he just couldn't not participate, both his father and mother seemed very stressed about it which made him even more determined to help and get all the information possible. When he wasn't doing that he was most likely studying or training. Richard told them that the name of the boy that they took in was Noah, he was very quiet and distant, not letting anyone near him.

They have given him one of the guest rooms for now as the renovation for his own room wasn't complete yet but Noah really gave them some trouble, he didn't eat much and spent most of the day locked up, not communicating with anyone.

At first Louis decided to just give the boy some time and not rush things but the week flew by and the situation didn't change one bit. It wasn't that they didn't try to have him open up and come out of his shell, but Noah seemed very resistant, not even letting anyone get close. Louis couldn't take it anymore, he knew this was unhealthy and 'giving the male time' wasn't something they should worry about anymore, he asked how the boy was for the last time.

"it's still the same, he doesn't talk to anyone and nor is he eating anything" his father said with a sigh, he didn't really have any experience with comforting a child, for most grown ups giving others time was the correct choice but now they were talking about a child. Since neither Louis nor Rose were ever hugely upset or pained about something, he really had no idea how to approach this without hurting the boy even more.

" I will go talk to him. I understand that Noah has been through a lot but giving anymore time will mean that he will continue rejecting food and crying, his health must already be in a bad state after the mental shock, stalling for any longer isn't an answer " saying this Louis stood up, neither Richard nor Alice tried to stop him as they knew he was right and as selfish as it would seem from two adults, they really wanted Louis to succeed.

Noah's current room was very close to the main area, it didn't take long for Louis to reach it, he didn't bother knocking, simply walking inside. Immediately afterwards he caught a glimpse of the boy covered with the blanket, he seemed to be shocked at the sudden noise as his body jumped up, burrowing into the blanket even more and together with this, Louis could hear a muffled sobbing from the same direction.

With a troubled expression, Louis walked over taking the covers off from the small boy, immediately afterwards he was met with tear filled eyes, even with the lack of lighting Louis could clearly distinguish the color or said otherwise, the lack of it. Noah's eyes were grey, his lips and the whole body seemed to be trembling. He was only around Rose's age but already put through so much...Louis couldn't help but to feel bad for him.

"Hey there now, don't worry, I'm not going to harm you. My name is Louis, your half brother from now on and I'm here to help" he said softly as he began to move his hand to the others back startling him a bit, after a little while of rubbing his back just to get him to relax a bit he made him sit up. The small boy was too weak to fight back and could only cover his face with his arms as he quietly muttered "l-let go..." Louis sighed a bit before he responded, still holding the soft but firm voice.

"I won't do that because if I do, you're going to go back to crying by yourself aren't you? all of us are very worried about you and I don't like the fact that you don't eat anything at all. Don't you think your parents would be really worried if they saw you like this? I did give you some time already but it didn't help so I'd have to use this way" Louis said in a gentle voice as he caressed his head trying to calm him down. Noah slowly put his hands down and looked up at Louis with teary eyes.

" w-why do you c-care? Can't you just lweave?!" he asked between the sobs, his voice hoarse from crying too much, he was merely three so such words made Jimin show a sad smile. He grabbed a cup of water and sat down on the bed beside Noah, helping him drink it.
