How to Hold Your Breathe Longer

PFOTD: To really augment your time while holding your breath longer, consider the following tips.
Experts on breath holding would say hyperventilate until you feel dizzy. It sounds stupid but it works. Can't remember exactly the reasons but basically just breathe heavily in and out until you feel light-headed right when you are about to actually hold your breath. Obviously, take a deep breath.
Secondly, relax every muscle. Limit as much movement because as basic biology goes, body movement requires oxygen coming from cellular respiration. Of course this is shown when you exercise or run quickly and you're panting for air. Your body would need more oxygen intake in order to provide function.

Obviously, I tried this and I'm not lying now. I used to do this over and over and until recently I held my breath for 2 min 40 sec, easily. Now of course this may not apply to everyone since not everyone is able to or have large lungs lol but have a nice day.
